Facility was clean, server was great. I ordered the liver and onions which I seldom do as the cooking of it can go either way. It was great. My mom also had this off of the seniors menu and the serving size was appropriate. Food arrived in a timely manner. Nothing negative to say

Meh, It was okay. Quality is down, and prices are up. I wouldn't not eat there again but also wouldn't go out of my way to eat there.Staff are always very friendly! Desserts are great!

If you want to go to a seafood platter this is one of the best places to go. With fresh clams and fresh scallops. Fresh haddock. And with butterfly shrimp . You have a choice of baked potato rice french fries or salad. It's actually hard to finish the plate. For the great price of$24. You will not find a better deal.

We went here for breakfast and it did not disappoint! Delicious food, great portion sizes, and the price wasn't too bad compared to other places. I got the eggs benedict, and it was so tasty.Quick, efficient, and friendly service.

Nice experience. Although we have eaten at most restaurants around the valley we have always kind of overlooked the Big Stop in New Minas. A family member ate there and got the fish and chips and was extremely impressed with the huge portion and freshness of the fish so decided to grab supper there. There is lots of great items on the menu and many great home cooked country meal" options which I love. I got the roast turkey dinner and my other half got the breakfast skillet. We both very much enjoyed our meals. The service was great

Good food, menu has quite a bit of variety so there’s usually something for anyone. The quality isn’t brilliant and nothing will blow you away but it’s reliable and consistent.The wait here can be really bad, either waiting to be seated or for food: and the food often isn’t fully hot when it come out. The staff are lovely though

My friends and I stopped to have a meal after a meeting in coldbrook. It was not too crowed and we were very hungry. Coffee was brought and water too very quickly. Thanks we all has different things. Two of us has the liver and one had breakfast and one had hot chicken. Every item was as we ordered. Decaffeinated coffee was great and fresh. The server was Sarah F and she was friendly and funny and cared for us as individuals. We loved everything about it. We sure will be back. Thanks for having a clean place with friendly service.!

The only thing that has changed about this place since I was a kid is the prices.It's a classic diner, with massive portions of comfort food. It's the perfect place to fill up after a long day of hiking or exploring.Also, pro tip. Add cheese curds to the hot turkey sandwich to make turkey sandwich poutine.

I always have a great time here. The waitstaff is pleasant. The food is good. It can be busy sometimes so the wait can be a little long on certain days or at certain times but I always think it's worth it. One of my favorite places to eat!
