If you are not seeking legal action(civil lawsuit) against a business but are experiencing issues with them, I would highly recommend filing a formal complaint against the business in question via the BBB. On more than one occasion I have had issues with a business and filed a complaint with the BBB. They were able to successfully mediate the problem and reach a satisfactory outcome. Only once has BBB not been able to mediate my issue with a business, but it was with Facebook who is corrupt and does not care about their customers/site patrons, and does not even have a customer service department despite having revenue in the billions. Writing to the Better Business Bureau was, in my case, a waste of time. Nothing was resolved and the complaints never changed the business rating, Still A+.I had a habit of reviewing their ratings before doing business with a company. They lost my confidence in them. I trust Google ratings. Seem more accurate.

This company is a joke someone bought my machine used it and abused it and finish their job with it 2month later they want to return, Complaint to BBB took they side. Bbb nothing but Destroying a small businesses Or a new businesses, Instead of doing more investigation on costumers or Haters.There's 15days return policy and final sale, not 2month later using and abusing the machine. anyways good luck dealing with my lawyer For the unprofessional false claim

Rancourt Roofing installed re-roofed our house in 2015 with new roofing shingles at a very competitive, affordable price. They did an excellent job; very clean, thorough and went beyond what we expected by doing our garage roof as well. Their crew were courteous and considerate to not damage our garden. They even stayed away a couple of days when the temperature was in the high 30s, showing care for their employees.Four years later they returned to do minor repairs and repaired a couple of extra flashing joints at our request, at NO CHARGE. They recently returned earlier this month, Sept. 2021, within three days of our call and fixed minor damage due to a wind storm. The employee could not have been more competent, professional and courteous, and he was very efficient. We recommend them very highly. They have honoured their warranty without question, for which we are grateful.

Had a horrible experience with a top rated BBB accredited business. Owner was an ex-con and very dishonest and screwed me very badly. I picked him partially because of the false sense of security BBB accreditation gave. Never trust or rely on BBB ratings. In my experience it’s utterly meaningless.Response to BBB response: I am unable to provide any information due to confidentiality agreement. I had to get lawyers, spend thousands of dollars on legal fees, took settlement for a fraction of what I was owed. You don’t sufficiently investigate businesses before you accredit them, which gives people a false sense of security. Highbridge construction (not who I dealt with) was accredited and they ripped off dozens, perhaps hundreds of people.Review your accreditation protocols.

I'm giving this rating because I pay for Better Business Bureau service for a reason I provide good service I had 2 customers With bad reviews Only because I did not do extra stuff for them For free decided to put bad reviews instead of Better Business Bureau asking for proof of th damages to having another roofer there They went ahead and post a complaint anyway No other roofer went to that address or I would've got a invoice or a call to my lawyer which never happened therefore the claim was false and I'm still getting the bad review that will not Be taken down After asking them to remove it

They are there for money, they will remove bad reviews if you pay them too. Very unprofessional and sad! They took down my review of eazy garage doors ltd.

Celia Lyons at BBB was great, she went out of her way to help with adding my info correctly. However, like the YellowPages, I do feel BBB is antiquated. But, if some clients place any value in it, then it's worth having an unaccredited/free listing.
