TD Canada Trust Branch and ATM

I made a phone appointment for noon and didn’t get a call until 12:10, without even an apology on their end. I ended up having to go in, so I made an appointment at 5pm. I arrived promptly and still had to wait over 30 minutes!Terrible financial consultants and customer service phone representatives at this branch.

Won't open till 9:15. Some of us need to be at work. No explanation

Set up a new credit card a this location. Unfortunately the rep either didn't understand what they were doing or made misleading statements. Given they didn't know who competitive banks were, I suspect the former. The result has been a series of hassles in dealing with the card since.

Have been trying to do a basic transaction with this account for 6 months. Not only is it impossible to book an appointment through the overall TD system (it gives an error message), the 2 different advisors I met with couldn't figure out how to do it, and then ignored my repeated inquiries.Do not bank here

Had a great experience with John and Drexler. They helped me open a GIC and upgrade my credit card.They were kind, courteous, and understood my needs. Would def go back to this location again to be helped by them!

Terrible customer service and knowledge of their own products. Tried to open a locked-in RSP to transfer my pension, which requires me to do it in person. A number of their associates kept directing me to open it online but finally after personally calling the Direct Investing helpline they confirmed that it would have to be done in person. I then call the assigned associate/rep and despite him having access to my account and details, he asked me product specific information that he should know and most lay-people would not have knowledge of. Needless to say, I cancelled my appointment and contacted my original branch in Markham who had everything figured out for me within 24 hours.In my experience the reps at this branch do not take any initiative and do not go out of their way to provide knowledgeable service. I've been with TD for over 20 years with products ranging from my first bank account to my mortgage and trading accounts, and I have never been so disappointed with the service I received.

Absolutely unacceptable service from their financial advisor. It took me 1 month to open a simple direct investing account because of incorrectly submitted forms and lack of attention from the advisor. Head office sent back the invalid forms to the branch a week after submission and they were then ignored until I returned to the branch 3 weeks later to fallow up on what is taking so long. I met with the manager who helped escalate the case since the financial advisor forgot to resolve the issue before leaving on vacation. Opportunities were lost, beware investors. I did receive an apology from the manager for his staff's neglect. Other banks have this done in 3-5 business days.

Have been a customer with TD for over 20 years. Had my first real service issue and went in to discuss with their Customer Service Experience" Manager

I went in to see a financial advisor. I wanted to cash out and close an resp account. A simple enough procedure. Unfortunately, the FA I was seeing had no idea how to get this done. He had me return to the branch 5 times to sign paperwork for each failed attempt. After I called and asked to speak to a customer service manager about how long this transaction was taking, the transaction finally happened. No one ever called me to explain why it took 7 business days to get this done. Instead of apologizing for the number of times I was asked to return to the branch, and why it took so long, the FA chose to call me Karen.Completely unprofessional!
