Geek Squad

I was a subscriber of Geek Squad for more than a year and a half. When I subscribed, I was told that if any internal issue happened to my phone, I would get a free replacement from them. That is not true, do not believe that. My phone's battery went bad, and a replacement from Geek Squad would cost me at least $200, which the amount I spent with them during that period would easily cover.I promptly canceled my subscription and do not recommend one. My subscription ended up summing up to hundreds of dollars, which afforded me a couple of cheap screen protectors.After that, I called the phone's manufacturer and got a free replacement, which is what should happen for an internal issue. Thankfully, I did not fall for Geek Squad's $200 little tale.

Paid over 800 dollars to insure my appliances for 5 years. When we had issues their service was always very bad. We had a couple of friendly people talk to us but overall everything took long and was bad. Would not recommend.

Oh my God I cancelled for 3 times now they agree but still charge me a=everytime with a smile. They never sent me any kit any antivirus When I cancelled they kept taking my money after I spoke to a supervisor that told me they only payback at the store

Malik the geek squad agent was very helpful in seeing through the repair of my laptop. He made sure the entire process went well and gave good recommendations. I would definitely recommend.

The Geek squad protection plan is a scam. Couldn't even use it to replace my phone's screen protection. They refused to cancel my plan in store and instead just gave me a phone number to call.

I realized it was a scam when i had issues with my tv the first year. Please before getting anything from geek squad check first the protection of consumers laws. Your tv is covered by the manufacturer for 5 years minimum. I would also suggest not buying at best buy.

Worst service ever. They came to my place take pictures of my tv without providing any information about it. After a couple hours they called me to say that my was not covered. They are liars, they will tell you everything to make sure you buy their insurance and when you have a problem, they will not help. Be careful about this scam people.

This is a systematic scam don't purchase any protection plan from them. They will ask you to pay service fees of 350$ +tax when you want to make a claim about your products.

Very bad service.I came here to get my laptop fixed. They sent it out for repair, but then told me they couldn't fix it because they contacted the manufacturer (Dell) for a part and apparently, this part was out of stock and not made anymore.I then just sent my computer to Dell for repair. A bit of an extra charge, but Dell magically was able to find this out of stock" part and didn't make excuses.Seems like Geek Squad either doesn't have the patience

It is the worst experience of my life. They don't answer any questions! You can't cancel your protection plan! They're unprofessional and unethical.I will never buy anything from Best Buy!
