If we could surround ourselves with people like Dale, our lives would change for the better instantly. I believe the future would be bright and happy. My daughter lost wallet on bus. We lost hope and thought it’s lost forever with all ids, etc. but to cancel the compass card when I visited website saw option to register lost complaint form. We filled it without any expectations. Surprisingly 2 days later we got notification from school it’s at trans links lost property office. Trans link had contacted school looking at her id. We followed the instructions and picked up on weekend due to our own schedule. When it was picked up all paperwork was as is but the money was not in there. Anyway happy that at least got all stuff back. Partial honesty by someone who found is still appreciated. Thank you! So highly recommend to fill in the form if you loose anything on bus, sky train, etc. Photo id will be required at the time of pick up for verification. Make sure to call in advance and get all instructions.

I experienced excellent attention and support in helping me get back something that I left on a bus. It was an imperative that I get it back asap, as I am leaving the country over the weekend. I’ve had very positive experiences anytime I’ve had a reason to be in communication with Translink reps, and Jay was nothing short of stellar as he helped me out, along with Janet the Transit Supervisor, assorted bus drivers, and the wonderful rider that turned it in. I thought I lost something somewhere along the transit line. After retracing my steps I called the lost property office after giving it a few days for some kind soul to turn my item in. When looking online I got the impression that I had to fill out a form to get information, I decided to just call and got a very nice lady on the phone who searched for my lost item.No luck unfortunately but I did appreciate her looking for it, I don't care for the service of the transit system in general but the lost property office was great.

I dropped my phone on the bus, turned on lost mode and less than 24 hours later they had it here and called for me to pick it up. I was lucky that it wasn’t stolen but they did a really good job getting it back to me.

The bus drivers around Surrey, especially on the 320, 502, and 503 are a bunch of goofs and skinners, and Translink runs like Enron/Madoff, who only care about pocketing money, and screwing over everyone who uses their transportation. Kevin B. Quinn is basically E. Hunter Harrison, and his cronies nickel and dime every consumer. Coast Mountain is just as guilty coercing in Translink’s corporate shenanigans. Worst and most corrupt transit authority in the world!
