Revera Glynnwood

Glynnwood has been my mother and father-in-law's home for over six months now. The staff are very caring and attentive. The home and grounds are lovely and well maintained. There are many activities which they enjoy. My mother-in-law especially likes the outdoor watercolor class. My father in law likes the exercise classes or watching the ducks in the pond.My husband and I now have a peace of mind because they have nutritious meals, housekeeping, a family doctor who visits on site and staff which keep us updated of any concerns.

Can't say enough good things about our mother's experience at The Glynnwood - caring staff from the executive to the cleaners, wonderful accommodations, and public spaces and programming that ensured that there was always an activity to join with other friendly residents.When our mother's memory problems advanced to the stage where she needed a secure space, The Glynnwood helped us find another residence (The Renoir in Newmarket) and assisted in a seamless transition.The Glynnwood is a special place and it was our great fortune to have had our mother there.Carolyn

We had no idea that our mom would be SO happy at Glynnwood! This is a new experience for all of us, and it has turned out wonderfully. Fantastic staff, great food, and an overall warm and inviting place to be. We feel very fortunate that she is at Glynnwood.

Too expensive. Over hyped by the owners. I don't want to trash the place as both my parents have now passed. I may add to this at a later date.

My mother spent her last few years here. She had a beautiful suite , friends and said the food was like bring st a 5 star hotel. We were blessed to have such caring staff

Glynwood is a lovely facility. The grounds are spectacular - it's like being in a park. Staff are helpful and friendly. Common areas are nicely decorated and always clean. My MiL enjoys the food. Suites are well thought out so that they make the best use of space. Does not feel at all institutional - more like arriving at a high end hotel.

Our first introduction to the Glynnwood was with Sandy Greene. Meeting with her several times she answered our many questions and offered valuable advice with her pleasant and cheerful demeanour. These encounters were always enjoyable and informative.When Mom sold her house her belongings and furniture were seamlessly moved in.Unfortunately our timing was poor. Covid-19 descended upon us all.While this has been a difficult time for everyone we remain impressed by how the staff at The Glynnwood have truly tried their best.The new Executive Director, Kris Wemyss, bent over backwards to make our mother feel welcome. He could always be counted on to wave and, as I've witnessed many times, greet each resident with sincerity and warmth. We can always count on him to do everything within his power to accommodate. My siblings and I refer to him as Our Fearless Leader"Tracey is a formidable force. She is a real treasure. Her ability to open doors

I was very thrilled with my visit at Revera Glynnwood which is located only 10 minutes away from my mother’s house. It seemed to be the perfect solution as the neighbourhood was so familiar to her and the various services offered at Revera’s catered to her needs.The only reason that we did not carry on with this project is her sudden impulse to return to Quebec to be closer to me. I had tried many times in the past to convince her, however I always respected her decision.I would like to thank Gina Cook for her kindness, her professionalism, and her great sense of humour.
