I came across this lovely authentic mexican restaurant in Montreal while on a stop over before heading to Quebec City with my husband and daughter. The food was great and taste really good. Cozy ambiance and great service. Definitely a must try.

Way too expensive and portion sizes are ridiculously small. The food didn’t even taste good. Overall very disappointing.

Never had traditional Mexican food other than 3 Amigos. I absolutely LOVED the food. We were 5 and we ordered 10 different dishes, all very tasty. We had superb service with a smile. Many thanks to Maria & Hector, owners of Maria Bonita.

Great mexican place to eat. Gringas Al Pastor plate was a good size, served with a plate of chips. Had a chat with the owner and it was a nice moment.

We went for a coffee with dessert and they didn't want to serve us. we had already eaten. Says Mexican food are Colombian. I do not recommend the place.

Could not be more impressed honestly! The service was amazing, the food & drink was perfect. Wasn't even troubled by the delay on the food but they still went above and beyond with extra chips and churros on the house. I'd give this place 6 stars if I could just for that!

The portions are small so you need a entree or dessert to be full. I also found that my selection was pretty tasteless and bland with not enough seasoning. It just tasted like cheese and beef.

Loved the decor, the music and the ambiance, it is very cosy and intimate! The food is very flavorful and authentic with alot of choices. The service is also excellent, I will definitely go back!

This was our second visit to this colorfully decorated Mexican restaurant. It was a warm evening so we took advantage of the warm weather to eat on their curb side terrace. The service was prompt & the waiter explained the concept of the tapas style menu with cazuelitas. You make your own tacos. The Margaritas were good & accompanied with tasty nachos & guacamole. Our appetizer of cheese quesadilla however lacked a little flavor. The tacos came in a pretty little bowl with towel that kept them warm. You order your own fillings for the cazuelitas. There are 2 extra sauces that you can add a mild one & an extremely hot one that my wife who likes spicey foods even found too hot. We ordered 3 cazuelitas which I found underwhelming. I would have liked the opportunity to order some rice or refried beans as a side but they are not on the menu. The presentation & service were very good however overall the food lacked the wow factor for us.

Nice restaurant, really good service but portions were very small. We had two Cazuelitas and one entry (Sopa Azteca). The entry size was ok but the one of the Cazuelitas was too small.
