Fish The Bruce

Quality fishing, quality conversation, beautiful boats and a guide who knows his fish! We went out for a morning fish and Colton put us on some HUGE small mouth bass. We had 6 bass that weighed over 3 1/2 pounds with the largest weighing in at 3.99 lbs.Absolutely beautiful fish.Colton was extremely knowledgeable about:- the effect of high and low pressure systems and how fish react,- spawning areas- reefs and rocks- the ecosystem- local flora and faunaHe was extremely patient when we got our lines stuck and had tonnes of lures for us to try out.I could not ask for a better day fishing!Highly recommend Fish the Bruce for fisherman and woman of all levels and experience.

The adventure of a lifetime! This will be a standout moment for the summer of 2022! #FishingTheBruce provided a guided adventure that led us to fish after fish. Colton is the ultimate guide, and his knowledge of the ecosystem, and fish species (and how to catch them) was such an education. The time flew past - and was filled with lots of laughter, great camaraderie and memories we will hold onto for a lifetime. We can’t wait to book our next trip and will plan to make this an annual family outing for years to come. We can’t thank Colton enough. What an extraordinary young man!

Thanks to Colton from FISH THE BRUCE. July 6th morning was great for some amateur fisherman. Thanks for your guidance, boat experience and local knowledge to get us out to the biggest bass we have ever caught. Great day for all four of us.

WoW! I was looking EXACTLY for this wonderful experience for our party of 4. Our 2 boys (10 and 13) were thrilled by their experience on the boat. Colton was very patient and pleasant with them, explaining what to do, what to expect and with stories of the area.I would definitely recommend it to anyone and looking forward to come again! :-)

A 4 hour charter, professional and knowledgeable and a pleasure to spend time with. Tough start but Colton found them and put onto some great small mouth bass! I would definitely recommend heading out with Fish the Bruce and Colton.

There is a reason why Fish the Bruce has great reviews. We took a trip at the beginning of July and it felt like we had known Captain Colton for years. Although my husband loves to fish, he learned a lot from Colton’s abundance of knowledge and experience. If you are looking for a laid back, friendly feel with lots of catches, Fish the Bruce is for you. We didn’t just feel like clients, we felt like friends. Reasonable price and a ton of fun! We will definitely be going back.

We took a bass fishing trip with Colton and had a blast. He is a wonderful host and helped first time anglers like me catch plenty of fish.He was very professional and honest in his communications, and very friendly and a great person to talk to.He was extremely nice and patient with our 2 boys and helped them catch a few fish as well. They had the best day of summer so far and was super happy.Overall a perfect weekend getaway, definitely recommended!!

Colton was lovely and provided us with a very enjoyable fun family outing. Colton has a great knowledge on the Bruce peninsula answering any questions thrown at him regarding the lakes , islands , and of course the fish ! Colton clearly is a great fisherman and has expertise knowledge and experience, above all Colton is a very personable and humble captain that will provide you and your family a good time. Our family of 5 hired Colton to take us out on the boat for a 3 hour fishing trip. Colton was knowledge, friendly, and really went the extra mile to find the perfect spot to catch fish so the kids would have a great experience. I recommend!
