Left at lunch because the line was too long, came back at 3:30pm and the line was longer and still only 3 counters open. This is why I try to avoid the branch! Absolutely wild the length of time in line.

Even if you have a logistical problemFORGET IT. The systems aren’t even interacting. I don’t want credit..but apply I doesn’t matter unless 22.5%++There is a huge problem, they pre approve a credit card. Then say (the 3rd) time forcing me to take it …. And -0 customer svc, they have lost their own credit.

RBC is the largest funder of fossil fuel projects in Canada, and fifth in the world. This included financing the CGL fracked gas pipeline which is trespassing on Wet'suwet'en territory without consent. RBC is also a leader in greenwashing, and specializes in lies and hypocrisy. They are truly the Oil Bank of Canada.

Came in with a card that was mistakenly blocked. Had my passport, cards, and teller was unwilling to even begin to assist me. Kept saying she didn’t know what number to call, told me to call the number on the back of my card instead. I told her we had done this and were told to come in.

I am writing this to bring to your attention a highly unpleasant experience I had at your branch on May 16,2023. My recent encounter with one of your employees, Marta, was far from satisfactory.To provide you with a clear understanding of the incident, I would like to outline the following facts:Employee Name: MartaUnprofessional Conduct:From the moment I approached Marta's counter, I noticed her demeanor was rude, angry, and visibly upset. Not only did she fail to greet me or offer a smile, but her behavior throughout the entire interaction was unprofessional and unwelcoming.Excessive and Invasive Questioning:Marta proceeded to ask me several additional questions, such as whether I was being forced to withdraw the funds, without even opening my account or initiating any transaction. I expressed my discomfort with being subjected to such extensive questioning without any valid reason. I questioned why I had not been asked similar questions in the past for the same withdrawal amount, to which she claimed that the procedure had recently changed. I requested to see the updated job procedures, but she outright refused.Refusal to Provide Service:Astonishingly, Marta refused to assist me on at least three separate occasions during our interaction. This refusal to work is highly concerning and completely unacceptable from an employee entrusted with serving customers.Confirmation from Marta's Supervisor:After expressing my frustration to Maxine, who claimed to be Marta's boss, I was informed that no such procedure existed, contradicting Marta's earlier explanation. Maxine assured me that the bank did not intend to make customers uncomfortable and acknowledged the unprofessional behavior exhibited by Marta. I felt deeply offended by the way I was treated, as it appeared to be influenced by personal bias.Refusal to Perform in Front of Supervisor:It is important to note that even in the presence of Maxine, Marta persistently refused to carry out the withdrawal transaction, demonstrating a lack of professionalism and disregard for her responsibilities.Explanation from Maxine:Maxine attempted to mitigate the situation by explaining that she knew Marta personally and believed that her actions were unintentional. However, it remains perplexing how someone consistently exhibiting rude, angry, and biased behavior could be perceived otherwise.Given Marta's demeanor, actions, and facial expressions during our interaction, I am left with serious doubts about the validity of the reassurances provided by Maxine. It is crucial to address this issue and ensure that customers are not subjected to such unprofessional conduct in the future.

Slowest branch ever. I went the day after Victoria’s day, you would think they would schedule more people after a holiday. Line is basically out the door. Based on the reviews of this branch, it seems like it’s mismanaged and no one cares. No one knows how to do anything at this branch, all the tellers are on the phone calling back office for help. All I want is to setup automatic payment for my RBC credit from a another bank. Previously, I called into the call centre, they told me I had to go to the branch and went I’m at the branch they tell me they can’t do automatic payment from different bank which I know is not true. And this is supposed to be one of the best bank in North America. Such a joke
