Went to this branch twice in 1 month and was not impressed with the service provided. Different tellers gave me different information. A bit of attitude and unprofessionalism experienced - would not visit this branch again.

I needed a Scotia Bank to verify/endorse my identify on a New Hire Form. I went to a Scotia branch yesterday. The teller, financial advisors nor the Branch Manager had no knowledge what it was, even the Scotia Form itself is very self-explanatory, even the Branch Manager talked to my HIring Manager on the phone. After a 40-mins wait, I was told by the manager that Scotia does not provide this service???...However, I went to this branch today, thinking that I might have to visit a third branch. The teller who served me was young, has no knowledge about the form. Sharma Chowdhury quickly came up (without raising a hand) and offered help. She took total accountability on understanding the form, signed the form, asked the teller to take photocopies of my documents, explained to me this is the 1st time she does this for a client. But hey, what else could we ask for? This is exactly what we need these days in order to help Toronto (whether work force or the economy) to stay on top. She deserves a round of applause. Well done Sharma, thank you.

Shama, the branch supervisor, is both unprofessional and wholly incompetent. The rest of the customer service reps are also incredibly unprofessional. They all have childish, petulant attitudes and act like children - not performing up to the standard that a real high-bar financial institution should be at. Although I haven't had a negative experience per se because I'm intelligent enough not to bother with fools, I was able to make these objective observations. If I were running this bank, I would fire all of them and hire more driven people that actually look like they want to be there.

The manager, raymond takes care of customers as well as the tellers. Staff is nice and friendly to every other customer. I wish all the elderly people visiting the branch could give reviews on google but they are not technocrat, while those who don't have patience and are young end up rating it low. Appreciate the staff's hard work.

I had a horrible experience at this branch earlier today which ruined my own and one of my employees day. I walked into this branch after leaving my regular bank TD to pay an employee of mine his salary. Once I got through the line and was speaking to the teller. I told her I was there that day to deposit some cash. I have been through the 3rd party banking process at many banks before when needed. My employee asked me to deposit the funds as opposed to handing him a check as he needed the cash and could not wait for a hold to be placed. As I handed the teller my Government issued ID and the 2000 in cash I was depositing. I was interrupted very rudely by a man who turned out to be the branch manager. He said what are you doing?" In a very rude and loud voice invading my personal space. I was not only shocked and startled as I stepped back and grabbed my cash. I replied and said I am here to deposit some money to one of my employees. He immediately interrupted me and told the teller and myself. We don't accept 3rd party deposits. I replied by saying I have done this many times before at this bank and when did this rule start? HE had no answer as he was obviously lying and decided that discriminating with no grounds was a good way to treat a customer. He forced me out of the line wasting my time and accused me of not having the individuals account information and so on. I tried to explain I had it on the cell phone that was in my hand the whole time he wasn't having it he didn't want to listen and suggested that I had no account info. Now this is where I concluded the branch manager has delusion psychological issues and should not be dealing with the public. He accused me of not having account info. Clearly seeing the cash in hand what did this lunatic think I was going to do? Give Scotia bank a free donation if I didn't have an account info to deposit it in. None of what he was saying and suggested made sense. It was obvious he was a snarky angry delusional person. He continued arguing with me and defamed my character in public and treated me like I was a criminal. He did not Give me the opportunity to provide the account info

Our financial advisor here, Jasper, is the best! He is friendly, professional and always goes the extra mile for us. It's easy to communicate with him and he always recommends us the best options. Highly recommended!

Despite the location being relatively quiet, the staff give the impression that servicing customers is an inconvenience. From the reviews of this location, my experience is typical of this branch.

Today, my husband walked in for a simple request that could not be fulfilled. He understood why, but the manager was rude, unprofessional, with an attitude, which was completely uncalled for. As a result of this we will be moving our account to another financial institution. I hope the management at this branch receives the training it needs, especially at a sensitive time like now during the pandemic!
