Side One Wedding and Event Band

Side One was by far the highlight of our wedding! All throughout the evening and for weeks after, family and friends raved about them! They had everyone dancing all night long. 5 stars isn’t a high enough rating for this band!!Thank you Side One!

Highly recommend this band, we had the acoustic trio during cocktail hour and then 6 piece band for the evening, both were awesome! had everyone dancing all night and everyone was commenting on how amazing the band was. As a musician myself from a technical view these guys were seriously on point! They catered the music just right all night while sticking to our style preferences, amazed how well they cover such a wide range of music. They also let me play a couple songs with them which was great fun! Look no further book these guys!

Side One was fantastic! They really set a personal mood on our day and are extremely talented, I couldn’t have asked for a better dance floor experience for our wedding. We really enjoyed their playfulness and professionalism on stage and in correspondence. Our guests also had an absolute blast dancing :) We would very highly recommend them for any event!

We hired SideOne's 8-piece band for our wedding and it was the best decision ever. They rocked a dance party that no-one could resist and were so engaging. They are excellent musicians, incredible vocalists, and energetic, nice people. We gave them a weird inspiration list and they took it and made it amazing, there was nothing I would have changed about my experience with SideOne. They were worth every penny and I am looking for the next thing to hire them for already!SideOne managed our audio throughout the day as well, and it was perfect. The volume, timing, sound quality, everything.

Side One was definitely one of the highlights of our wedding! The 6-piece live band made our dance floor experience and they were great at handling the audio for our ceremony and speeches. Originally we weren't going to have a live band but after going to a friend's wedding with Side One we knew we had to book with them! You won't regret the decision to go with Side One!

From start to finish working with SideOne has been a great experience! From the outset, they were professional and flexible in working with us to plan the musical portion of our wedding, under pandemic conditions. Throughout the entire process, Rob was understanding when we had to make adjustments due to COVID, and was able to lend support to the jewish music set. The band totally rocked out during the wedding, putting on a high energy performance, while deftly selecting the perfect set mix to get the guests moving! Many guests enthused afterwards that the music was the highlight of the wedding for them. My wife and I would highly recommend SideOne to anyone looking to book a wedding band.

Side One absolutely *made* our wedding!!! Not only did they keep our friends and family on the dance floor literally all night, but they also helped us with sound tech throughout our ceremony and a fun playlist throughout our happy hour, ensuring that everything music-related was professionally handled from beginning to end. They even paid attention to our sample Spotify playlists and played my husband's favourite song as a surprise encore at midnight! 12/10 recommend them—stop thinking about it and just go for it!

Months after the wedding, my uncle is still talking about the wedding band. Side One is indeed one of a kind! We asked our venue (Sunwolf) for a live band that could perform at our wedding, and they immediately suggested Side One.We looked for them online, and didn't find too many videos, but we hired them and hoped for the best. They exceeded our expectations!We hired the acoustic guitar for the reception, the 3 piece jazz band for the cocktail hour, and the 5 piece band for the reception.I could tell immediately that they LOVE their job when Rob told me that I would get 4 free songs for the acoustic guitarist to learn for the ceremony. Any song whatsoever! We went with 3 songs total, 2 of them being Filipino songs that means a lot to me and my husband. My family recognized the songs and were happily surprised to hear it!We weren't around during the cocktail hour as we were taking our wedding photos, but hearing them from afar made me feel like I was missing out on the jazzy vibe!The reception was amazing! They found a way to fit into the small area we had for them. Their setup was amazing. Came with some rustic, retro style lights, highlighted with a bit of pink and blue LED lights. I normally don't like LED lights, but theirs wasn't too much and just fit the vibe perfectly. The dance floor was NON-STOP! They got my family and friends dancing and singing for hours! They even got my cousin on stage to sing! Great audience participation that made everything so memorable!Live bands are the way to go for any party, and Side One is way beyond! My friends wondered why they aren't famous already!
