Great shop. Fast shipping, detailed and accurate shipping. Bought a ice fishing rod blank and components. Had what I needed and wanted. Nice to have a place like this so close to home.

This guy is the absolute best. I needed a custom trout rod and he set me up with the best rod I have ever owned. He is very friendly and has great customer service skills. The rod he made me is extremely high quality and very affordable for a custom rod. Definitely a customer for life now. Thank you, sir!EDIT*** It has been over a year now since I got my rod from him. I have used it countless times trout and panfish fishing. It is so sensitive, yet sturdy. The number of times I wasn’t able to set the hook in time because I couldn’t feel the bite, can be counted on one hand. I have put this rod through hell and back never had any problems. It has gone to multiple countries over seas with me and to every state on the west coast and southwest and even through all that travel I’ve never broken a rod tip or eyelet. 10/10 the best thing I have ever spent money on for fishing.

I had some very specific demands but allowed room for artistic licence. I got EXACTLY what I wanted. EXACTLY! You know how often that happens, right? I could not be more pleased.The process from start to finish is professional and collaborative. Practice patience. The better the artist, the longer the wait.

I received my first 4 custom ice fishing rods from here and they are just amazing! Hands down the most beautiful fishing rods I own! Ordered 4 for my boys and I and already thinking about getting matching open water rods next! Will be ordering again in the future great ordering experience and I would get updates on how they were coming along.

Ken has been the best to deal with I wanted to get everything to make 2 custom rods and had lots of problems finding anybody willing to help me with all the questions I had. Ken has been there every step answering any questions or problems I have had. Ken really cares about what he does and wants to help I can’t say enough good things about him and want to thank him for all the help.

Ken is a very nice guy to deal with, and absolute best in rod building. I had a rod building session with him over a weekend, and I absolutely loved it. He taught me all the basics of the rod building and at the same time he nit-picked on the small details that I was missing which was exactly what I needed.Ken is very experienced in the rod building and know every aspect of the trade. He answered all my questions and helped in tough spots while showing what exactly he was doing. I am totally satisficed with the time and money I've spent on his lesson it saved me hours and hundreds if not thousands of dollars in waisted materials, and time.I am greatly recommend Ken to deal with any aspect related to rod building.

I received a Hogman's custom rod as a gift. It would not be an overstatement to say that it is a work of art. The rod is beautifully crafted. In addition to the look, it is sensitive, well balanced and the grip fits comfortably in my hand. Just the right amount of flexibility allows me to have a smooth, accurate cast.The rod is awesome!!
