Sundial Lighting

Excellent service and knowledge. Went in to look for recessed lighting for my kitchen renovations and they had recessed lighting that no one else had. Very cool lights that are easy to install and have great range of motion. Highly recommend Sundial Lighting over any big box store.

Okay, so they have great staff and a huge selection of products to choose from in the store. What I really love is their sign out front. The fact that they take the time to post humorous messages makes these guys special in my book.

In town and came in as my hubby and I know sun dial is the best light shop in the okanagan! Have been in a time or 2 when we are in town and normally have a great experience but have been in twice in the last week and are very disappointed with our service experience with a employee and felt it needed a review as owners were not in to speak with in person either time apparently.Went in last week to get a bulb as we had a burn out. Went in and begin looking as wonderful girls we normally deal with where busy. Asked the young short hair girl who was in back lighting area if she could give me a hand but she rolled her eyes at me and told me can’t you see im busy and turned around. Was surprised so apologized and waited for one of the other girls to help me and that was worth the wait as the woman who helped was awesome!!! Was back in with my hubby to pick out a kitchen light and my hubs asked the same young girl if she could recommend a light that would fill a small space but not be to bright. She seemed irritated that we asked but did direct us in the direction of some lights but seemed more interested in trying to get the young gentleman in the storage area to notice her. My hubby made a joke about how she should ask him on a date as she seemed interested and she made a rude comment about the young gentlemans girlfriend and then went on to talk about about how she has been trying to get the gentleman to be involved with her since she started 1 month or 2 ago. We asked the young lady if we could focus on the lights but she than told us she was to busy and went back to stand by the storage room. We left feeling very uncared about and will be heading home today with no kitchen light as we didn’t feel after the poor service 2x that we should purchase there. Very sad as all other experiences have been wonderful!! We feel bad for poor gentleman in the back if he is dealing with inappropriate behaviour from the girl and for girls up front for having to pick up her slack. Hope she is gone when we are back next month as we would like to spend our money where we trust the quality and feel appreciated!!

I have been into Sun Dial several time since I moved here and and have always had a wonderful experience. The staff have been very helpful and always followed up promptly. They helped me with a lampshade I needed to have custom made and I am extremely happy with it. Did not know that was even an option prior to going in! I went in looking for a new lamp and this saved me a lot of money. They have so much variety and this is my go to store for any lighting needs!

Faye and the staff are fabulous! I needed a speciality bulb for an older appliance. Did they have any? Of course they did! Why go anywhere else.

Rebuilding a 1930's era light fixture and was looking for some wiring and bulb socket parts. Great helpful staff, and they had everything I needed.... and cheaper than Amazon or any of the major electrical suppliers (who I could have online ordered from as they had no parts in store).

Great selection and wonderful, helpful staff! Found the perfect light fixture for our dining room! We don't live in Vernon but will definitely stop in again if we are travelling through the area! The right light fixture can add a lot to the ambiance of the room!

Excellent service from the moment I stepped in the door. I was greeted by staff who directed me to Willy who kindly looked at a cord, electrical outlet situation I had.Willy spent at least 20 minutes trouble shooting the connections, bulbs, circuits etc and explained what he thought the problem was, what my options were and what would be the most expedient and cost saving solution for me.Above and beyond service from start to end.Thank you,Denise
