Forever Loved Veterinary Hospice and In-Home Euthanasia

I cannot say enough about the incredible experience I had with Forever Loved when I had to say goodbye to my beloved furbaby. Compassionate, kind and you can clearly see the love they have for the animals in their care and their human clientele.

We used forever loved last year when we had to say goodbye to our cat and it was an amazing experience (as amazing as putting your fur baby down can be, that is). Nothing is more stressful for a cat than to leave its home and the thought of having to bring her to a vet clinic was giving me major anxiety. We wanted nothing more than her last day to be as comfortable as we could possibly make it for her, and most of all at home. Our first contact by email was great, Tricia and Emily made sure to be extremely empathetic about the situation and always gave us kind words and were very comforting in making our arrangements. Our vet Penny was so caring and compassionate and made us feel very comfortable. We are so happy that she was able to give our baby the goodbye she deserved and we so appreciated the hand written card we got in the mail from her.

The kindness, professional, even educational experience working with the team at Forever Loved was a positive memory. Knowing that our sweet girl was comforted, not scared, and surrounded by those she loved at the end of her life means the world to our family. Thank you.

From the moment I reached out to Forever Loved, everyone I had contact with showed an unbelievable amount of compassion for how difficult this was. Trisha, Emily and Dr. Reiner made the very difficult decision to say goodbye to our cat Sprinkles manageable. Being at home was very comforting and Dr. Reiner was so caring. She allowed me to take the time I needed every step of the way. It is evident how much everyone associated with Forever Loved cares about animals. My family had to put down our cat of 13 years back in March. Words can't even describe how much we appreciate the kindness and compassion from the girl who came by to help with his passing. He was always a very nervous cat but Penny was so friendly and gentle so I think he knew she was only there to help him. We knew he would never be able to make in the car even for a check-up at the vet, so thank you so much to all the people at Forever Loved for providing the service you do. Dr. Penny, Tricia and Emily are truly a gift during one of the most difficult times in your life. From the first email to the final goodbye, they made the unbearable bearable. They carry such honest compassion for families and pets. Our lab was diagnosed with lymphoma at 7, and deteriorated so quickly. We had to make a decision that dog lover dreads. We were able to say goodbye to Gus in our own home, in his favourite spot surrounded by his family. Dr. Penny was compassionate and really made sure that Gus was comfortable, and that we were all ready. She explained everything carefully and with such love. Tricia and Emily handled our communication via with with sympathy and grace. They are all such wonderful people. Thank you for being such an important part of end-of-life care. As painful as it is, we can be confident in knowing Gus was in the best hands.

It's hard to put into words just how glad I am we chose to do at-home euthanasia when it came time to say goodbye to our beloved cat. She literally passed away purring, not something I think would have been possible if she was put in a carrier and taken to a vet's office. Dr Graben was compassionate, non-intrusive, and patient. Despite the heartbreak, she and Forever Loved facilitated a beautiful and peaceful end, making it much easier to look back on, knowing we did right by the pet we loved. When the unfortunate time comes for our other pets, I will absolutely know where to turn.

We are so grateful for for this service, and the team at Forever Loved. Being able to share the last moments with our cat, in his home, with his bro, was a privilege we're so lucky to have had. It wouldn't be possible without the folks at Forever Loved. The compassion and reassurance is there every step of the way (for you and your fur companion). This is a hard job for everyone in the process but we felt supported by Penny and Tricia from the team before, during and after.
