I am thrilled to write a review about the work of Certified Master Groomer, Elsie Tang! She is a talented and exceptional professional. I met Elsie one day before Hudson's groom. Hudson still had his puppy coat (and he turns 2 in March). Elsie was thoughtful and understanding of just what I was looking for in this groom. She was able to rectify the previous groomer's horrible work, without passing judgment. I was so impressed with her efforts to salvage the coat and am so glad Hudson has a new favourite place to be pampered - PAWfect Spa! The rest of the team was also great on our arrival. Five stars for this Spa!! Thanks, Elsie!!!

I just wanted to send a HUGE THANK YOU for the wonderful grooming job Elsie and her Team done on my puppy chow chow, Asher. He looks amazing and cute after 4hrs full groom, and I'm sure he enjoys without all that extra hair! perfect! I had my poodle and golden retriever groomed here, and they look like two whole new dogs now! Especially for my poodle, before grooming she was tangled and matted like a carpet.My poodle usually bark a lot when come back after grooming, but this time she is pretty comfort and calm, seems that she was in good hand.I recommend this grooming service!

I have a dog of my own but this is for my friend's dog that I have been watching for a couple of months that I care for as my own dog and I decided to take him to this spa.This spa is located in the affluent area of Toronto, I knew pricing would be a bit higher, but I did not expect to be treated so poorly and the owner would not even work with my budget of $300 for a mini goldendoodle. I felt that this spa only catered to the affluent community and there was no interest in catering to regular working class dog owners that had a budget. I was told it would cost in the mid $600 before taxes to de-matte, bathe and groom.I called to book an appointment . The owner, Elsie, had texted to tell me that she was going for a surgery and would call me back. This was great dedication from a small business owner - I was happy to support a local small business with such a dedicated owner.I followed the instructions to upload photos of before and after; Elsie called me back to book and let me know a 50% deposit would be taken. I saw $99 charged to my credit card and thought $200 for a groom and cut is reasonable, a bit on the higher end (usually pay around $100-140) but this is fine to splurge.Once I arrived, I was told that just to de-matte my dog would be $120/hr with an estimate of 3 hours required just to de-matte him. So I contemplated, $360 is a bit out of my budget but it is only $60 more and I had already taken the half day off and travelled from downtown toronto, where there is a dog spa boutique right across the street from me to this midtown spa. This was when I was told that $360 would just be to de-matte, afterwards, it would be another $200-300, totalling into $600s before tax, to bathe and cut.How can almost $700 for a groom and cut be justified?The explanation I received was that it was high quality work and there was no way to do it for less. Elsie was also adamant that she would not do a half job, because it wouldn't look good.I am very disappointed. I wanted to support this local business but I felt judged for the condition that my dog was in, judged for talking a budget of $300 and judged for not wanting to spend the $600-700 for a proper groom.I groom him every night, maybe not with a fine comb pick that Elsie used but I used a brush and he was NOT matted to any extreme. He wasn't in any poor condition but this spa thought otherwise. I was also told that I could take him elsewhere, but they wouldn't give the same care as they would at this spa.

2nd time bringing my cat Figaro for a nail trim here. Highly recommended. Fantastic customer service and very quick. Also very convenient as we live a couple blocks down the street.

Elsie and her team at Pawfect Spa are true professionals. Thora (our Golden Retriever) always gets the best treatment and they make her look so beautiful! They're fast, thorough and never disappoint. Incredibly flexible and highly accommodating to our needs. We love Pawfect Spa and so does Thora! She always comes home with the cutest bandana around her neck. :)

My Yorkie's coat looked absolutely stunning after the session. Elsie and her team were able to trim her fur and give her a neat, tidy look while still maintaining the adorable charm of her breed. They also paid close attention to her hygiene, ensuring that her nails were clipped and her ears were clean.Overall, I highly recommend Pawfect dog groomers to anyone looking for a reliable and skilled dog grooming service. Been going to Pawfect spa for a few year and Elsie and her team are amazing! They really take their time with your pets and the results are really show worthy!!!! Definitely recommend!
