Horrible services. A system designed specifically to decrease support, minimalizing provincial spending. Such a shame.

It is better place to get help when is no one available to help I love it

The staff couldn't be more accommodating than they already are. Very friendly and welcoming. I feel good when I walk in there. Has to be the people. :)

Very friendly service.The line was moving quickly.

I was recommend by a few people to be part of this employment service and when I was trying to book an appointment with them, I have to wait at least 2-3 week before actually seeing my employment counsellor. In my opinion, that's a long wait but my family encouraged to me stay with them and see what they have to offer for me. On the day of seeing my employment counsellor, N.K. she ask me to sign some papers, really encouraged me to go to their workshop which I'm not interested in and ask me what kind of jobs I like to work in. I haven't seen her since that day when I left their office behind some doors where it has a sign that you said you cannot passed by unless you are one of the workers. After a few weeks gone by, I already notice when she spam me with emails of job posting, it's not something I'm interested in or ask her it is different type of jobs I ask for which it's not. Yes, I am grateful she is sending me over things but at the same time none of the jobs I'm receiving from her is something I cannot applied to them when I'm not qualified. For example: how can I be a nurse working in a hospital when I don't have a medical degree or health past job working experience? I email her if she could closed my file but she took a long time to reply back and when she did, she ask me why or give her a good reasons to close my file. After giving her my respond, she took a few days to say she will close my file as soon as she can but never did. Till this day as I'm writing this review, my file is actively open since an month and half and I don't understand why it took her this long to close my file. Yes I get it she could be busy but at the same time it's so unnecessary to let me wait this long for her to close my file. I also want to put out there that she did called me one time regarding about the bunch of emails I'm not able to be get into those industry that I didn't go to school for, she said something like it's okay if she sending me emails that I don't like because tomorrow is a brand new day and I need to pray to God that there might be something for me and I need to have faith in myself." Extremely disorganized, no wonder people are grumpy all the time.

Wait time is short, you can use the computers on the first floor to apply for jobs. There are printed out copies of job openings and easy access to picking up some. There's also a child care center in the building so you can leave your child for a bit there while you concentrate on applications and getting advises on CV development and interviews. It's nice to get all these advises in one place.

Social services are an integral part of our society. Honored to be able to assist those in need access resources that will help improve their quality of life.
