Shy's Place Restaurant
What a great spot! The staff was great to us and super friendly. The atmosphere was very relaxed, definitely a fan of the music choices. We booked a reservation for 6 of us on the patio for dinner. Lucky for us the weather cooperated. The patio is very open with lots of seating. Lots of washrooms for the size of the restaurant. Overall great expierence overall. Will definitely be back again soon, thanks again.

Loved our dinner here. Great setting, delicious food, and excellent staff. Especially enjoyed the pork belly sticky rice!

If I could give 10 stars I would. Great customer service, we had Dan as our server. The food was absolutely spectacular, two days later we're still talking about it. We are already looking forward to going back. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Shy's Place Restaurant
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Shy's Place restaurant and I must say, it was a great experience! From the moment we rolled in, we were greeted with warm hospitality and good service.But what really stood out was the cool historical vibe of the renovated older home. Everything we tried, from the appetizers to the entrees, was top-notch. The menu offered a variety of options that would appeal to any palate.And to top it all off, the restaurant has a great patio that was very wheelchair-friendly which I will be returning to enjoy when weather allows. As someone who has had difficulty navigating some other restaurants in the past, I was impressed by the accessibility of the patio and first floor of Shy’s place. FYI I always phone ahead and make sure to reserve an accessible table.Overall, I highly recommend Shy's Place restaurant. The food and service were exceptional, and with the patio opening soon when mother nature allows it make the dining experience even more enjoyable for everyone. Whether you're in a wheelchair or not, you'll feel right at home at Shy's Place.

Amazing restaurant - fantastic food, awesome vibes and great staff!We came for dinner and sat in the birds nest - the room on the upper floor of the house decked out in vintage Toronto Blue Jays memorabilia. We didn't get to look around the other rooms but I did spy vintage hockey stuff too.The food was incredible - we had the whipped feta, lemon pistachio pasta and the hoisin chicken.Highly recommend visiting Shy's Place, will definitely be back soon!

Went here with family for brunch. The food was fresh and absolutely delicious, and the portions were very generous. $5 Caesars and Mimosas on Sun were delicious. Service was wonderful as well. Will definitely be coming back to this hidden gem.

Shy's Place Restaurant
Visited here with the family recently for lunch. Excellent spot, tons of character and memorabilia. Dan served us. Felt kinda like we were an imposition to him. Service was not bad. Just not great. Could have been an off day. Although one salad was over dressed, the rest of the food was terrific. Lots of upstairs rooms and a massive, beautiful patio. 5 of us drinks, apps and mains cost about $350 pre tip. Would definitely recommend and return.

Shy's Place Restaurant
Amazing time last night … dinner for 6. Lisa was wonderful, so friendly and helpful. Appetizers were great … steak bites and ricotta with pita bread. Entrees we’re all delicious, portion sizes very generous. Pasta dishes, fish & chips, steak Mac & cheese, blackberry short ribs … excellent!!! We can’t wait to go back!
