Love this spot! The family here is amazing. Robert Cathy and there daughters all staff have been amazing over the years. I met Robert the first time going in there almost 10 years ago, very helpful and he's pretty darn funny too. He's cracked some good ones over the years. Always treats you great and you feel special when you leave this place. They've helped me numerous times saving my butt to find the right gift in the right moment. Thanks so much for all you guys do!Cowboy Cody

I just found a most unique & personally meaningful piece of Art! A First Nations Pendant, carved beautifully, Titled ‘Sea Spirit’, a gorgeous piece mounted on a Silver Dollar coin from 1958 which depicts a Totem Pole. So thrilled my local jeweller had the Perfect Piece I was looking for! Well done the Gold Bin in Mission, BC! Such a unique collection of Treasures!

Took my boyfriend's gold chain in on September 20th and Robert had just stepped out. The lady at the front said we could wait for him as he would only be gone a minute, leading us to think it was something he could fix while we waited. As it was a work day, we decided to go back to work, and she said she would call us back with an update, we received no call. On September 23rd I called in to see what was going on as I was concerned that I hadn't heard anything after three days, and they had given us no slip of paper or any service sheet what so ever for my $1000 chain that I brought in. At this point I had no idea if it was lost or they had given it to someone else by accident. I got Robert on the phone and asked him if we had any update. He spent a few minutes looking for the chain and then told me it was the lobster clasp would need to be replaced. (He hadn't even looked at it yet.) He proceeded to try and argue with me on what day I brought it in saying, I had only brought it in yesterday, even though he announced the date (Sept 20th) was the day we brought it in. I could not believe how rude he was being on the phone. He wanted $50 for the clasp and $30 to solder it on which is not a problem, but I said I would have to call him back. (I didn't like the way he was speaking to me.) I went in later to come pick it up as I decided I didn't want to give them the business anymore after the way he was talking to me over the phone, and again he wasn't in. The lady would not give me back my necklace until he came in. He finally strolled in and asked what was going on. I said I just wanted my necklace back and I'm going to get it fixed somewhere else. He proceeded to ask me why. I shouldn't have to give a reason, but I told him because my necklace has been here for three days now and nobody has given me an update. To which he says oh

I brought in a silver necklace with a broken clasp and a silver ring with a broken claw. The necklace was fixed that day in the store. As for the ring, I was told it would be cheaper just to buy a new ring, but he saw that both pieces had sentimental value to me. So he decided to use a very strong metal glue so I could still wear it. Pick up was the next day. The service here is wonderful and you can tell that the owners really love what they do. If you're looking for something special for someone, go here! They have a great selection with varying prices, so you will definitely find something great!

Went to get a couple of chains fixed, he generously fixed one of them at no cost as it was a very simple fix, the other he told me wasn't worth fixing because it would cost less to buy a new chain, ended up walking out with a beautiful new chain which I love even more than the one I wanted to get fixed. Very helpful and friendly, they give honest answers and opinions, and I never feel pressured to buy anything. They obviously care about the work that they do and the people they do it for.

I love the gold bin, it is the only place I buy jewelry. It has low prices medium prices and high prices, has more than just jewelry has lots of variety of things. It is the best place to go. Bob and everyone who works there are very pleasant and very helpful . A comfortable atmosphere.

Bought a ring, it broke within 3 days. woudnt give a refund only a replacement, took 4 weeks, wasted time chasing up when the replacement would be ready, lied about leaving me voicemails. Was very rude and condescending to my wife multiple times. also weirdly interested in what i did for work.
