DANNY'S TRANSMISSION WINDSOR (2005) LTD.

So I called to get a quote for some work and the receptionist was giving me so much attitude and didn’t even give me a chance to explain what the issue is with the vehicle, I asked her who the person in charge is and said she is the manager, I asked her who she rejects to and I wanted to speak to her manager she replies to me by saying (my dad is the owner and I can help you) so I said I would to speak to him she hung up on me. I called back and she hung up on me again. Just because you are the owners daughter you think you have the right to treat people in such a a manner? What a horrible person she is and will never ever deal with this place again nor recommend them to anyone.

Excellent service and customer care! We spoke with several mechanics after getting a steep quote from the dealership for transmission repair work, and they all unequivocally referred us to Danny's Transmission...a reassuring start. The office manager, Julie, was our first point of contact and was so proactive and helpful. The specialist who performed the diagnostic was competent, well-spoken and most importantly, honest. So glad we came for a second opinion - huge savings from a fair and professional shop.

I can not say enough good things about this place. They are very good at what they do and they don't just care about getting your money. They showed compassion to a first time customer when they didn't have to and we will continue to throw our support their way and be very grateful for their help.

I bought a truck from uncle and he just had Danny's replace the transmission. Less then year later I had to replace it again. I called for two weeks for them to bring up the work order and see if they were go ik my to warranty there work and apparently the only lady that can do it has been gone for 2 weeks its disappointing when you spend that much money replacing something and then it brakes a d know one is willing to help i have called multiple times and i was just so frustrating. I do not recommend

From the moment the phone call began, I just knew this was a place that was solid.It was my first time calling, my transmission had landed me on the side of the road.Julie kept me calm on the other end, and helped guide me to figure out how to get my car to their shop.She also went the extra mile, once my car was at their garage, by contacting the dealership, only to find out my car's problem had to do with a recalled part.She saved me so much time, so much money, and truly took care of the situation.The people that own and run this business are truly caring, and the sweetest---It was my first experience with them, and an unforgettable one. The clutch went in my Jeep and I had to be towed to the shop. They were in constant contact with me the entire time they had my vehicle. I found the customer service fantastic, their technician knowledgeable and the price was fair. Would definitely recommend Danny's for any job.

Took my car here 4 weeks ago to have the transmission replaced. Owner kept telling me he would get the part but 4 Weeks later my car was still there and still no news on the part. So I decided not to have the car fixed and to just buy new. Went today to pick the car up and the owner said that i must pay for labor and a towing fee even though i was using my own towing company and he hadn't done any labor on my car yet. So I paid it so I could get my car. Then he refused to give me the keys to my car. he said he would only give it to the tow truck. So i had to call the police, when the police came he refused them the keys also. After going back and forth with officers he finally agreed to give them the keys. We had to wait with the police for over two hours. I am a Veterinarian in the states and due to this i was 2 hours late getting to work while there were emergencies waiting for me. The owner of this shop is very unprofessional and does not know how to run a business.

Wrst experience ever I drop truck off on a Thursday. They tell me they are gonna look at it Friday. The next week on a Tuesday still hasn't even been looked at . And they tell me maybe today or tomorrow . I'm a person that goes by someone's word they tell me tomorrow I exspect tomorrow or atleast a phone call telling me otherwise

Very rude and unprofessional. Caught a bad vibe at first as he made a comment that if pricing was an issue we would stop talking right there. I went on to explain I just needed a rough estimate. Continued with services none the less telling my self he was just old and the problem could vary. Thankfully my car was fixed as he told me I could not drive my car to hear the sound before payment which was thousands of dollars and told me I had a problem because I wanted to confirm myself. Hope your comment was worth a long term customer.
