Great location, just off Hwy 17 heading toward Sydney. Close proximity to visit Victoria and site see other areas such as Sooke, Langford etc., this is a good home base" when visiting the area and very close to access the Galloping Goose for bike riding and walking.Don't be fooled though..... this isn't exactly "oceanside"

Awesome here on Haro Strait! So much to see and great walking trail. The views are fantastic!Island View Beach is rugged and fun to explore. Dog friendly!

Overall a good well maintained place. Has everything the RV need. The beach was a bit of walk but then you get used to it and becomes a nice walk in nature. The beach doesn’t have sand and has a lot of insects. Everything gives you a good experience until you need help. Then you are on your own. The customer service won’t lend a multimeter to you. They will give you phone numbers for services. Do what you need to do because you need to get out of there before your time is up. No one in that place will help you. So pretty much you are on your own.

Good placed campsite when using the ferry. Regular big spots, fully serviced and bathrooms were spotless clean.1$ for 5min shower, either cash or by purchasing a prepaid card (refundable if not used completely).Short walk to the beach but not really anything more than that.

Buyer Beware: I am sure this campground is lovely and I am disappointed we are unable to visit it, however a last minute work trip forced us to cancel our stay 13 days before our reservation. 13 days is important because the cancellation policy is 14 days, no exceptions. 13 days resulted in costing us $220 (half of our entire reservation cost); 14 days would have cost us $20. We RV full time and understand the need to enforce a cancellation policy, but this policy is the most extreme we have ever encountered and honestly seems a bit steep and ridiculous.The only upside is the ladies at the front desk were very friendly and offered to instead of cancel, change my reservation to 1 year out. The downside to this alternative is we will unlikely be in the area in 1 year and will still forgo the deposit at that time.UPDATE: I followed the link provided by the campground over a week ago and have received no contact to help resolve the issue.

I had such an enjoyable stay here. This is a very quiet location, with great access to the beach, and also very dog-friendly. Good sized sites, and very well maintained. I hope to get back here soon.

This a nice RV park with a beautiful beach that takes minutes to walk to. Sunrises are absolutely beautiful (I have to thank my husband for the pics as he is the early riser…lol). We would have liked our site to have been a little more private, but our pull thru was a good length. We stayed the whole winter and because the park is open to the ocean be prepared for some high winds at times. All in all it is a lovely RV park with a great location, close to Sidney, Brentwood Bay and Victoria!

Beautiful park, sites are all gravel. Good for RVs and trailers or vans, not so good for tents.Absolutely gorgeous views along the paths though!

Absolutely a great location. Friendly staff, nice spots and close to shopping. Thank you to the local aboriginal community for sharing this area with us.

Large, clean, handicapped-accessible bathroom/showers. On-site laundry facilities. Seasonal beach access. Wifi is available. Large sites with water, sewage and electricityStunning views of the ocean particularly at the Golden Hour. Eagles, hawks, osprey, grey and black squirrels, raccoons, black-tailed deer, Purple finches, Goldfinches, chickadees, Red-winged blackbirds, cormorants, Great Blue Herons and on goes the list.
