This is the go to Mexican restaurant in the area, it is worth the drive from Rapid City or in the Hills. We have gone there for more than 10 years and it is always good, the family that rums it is amazing. Make sure that you look at the pictures of the family on the wall while you wait for your table. I've lived in Texas and this is what I remembered.....

The staff were very friendly and what a great story to hear about Guadalajara from the family that owns the restaurant. The artwork and atmosphere was great and it was really nice to hear the artwork came from Guadalajara. The food was great and we will definitely have to come back again.

I don't know how this place has such good reviews. We trusted them since we are out of towners. The service was awful. No drink refills, no asking how anything was, we had to find someone give us the bill. The food took forever to come out and was the worst Mexican food I have ever had. Canned beans, dry rice, salsa was basically tomato juice, no seasoning on the chicken. Why is there no seasoning or flavor?!? It was the blandest food I have had in a long time. Do not go here...

Ive eaten here probably 20 times. The staff are friendly enough. Servings are fairly large. Good location. My problem is that most of the food they offer basically all tastes the same... i guess they just roll it up, smother it in cheese, rice and beans, band ta-da! Chimichanga tastes like the burritos taste like the enchiladas tastes like the soft tacos etc etc.

Food was delicious. We had been out hiking and enjoying the scenery all day and was so looking forward to some yummy food. They did not disappoint. The service was wonderful and the food came out within 10-12 minutes of ordering it. Hot and delicious.

We visit Guadalajaras fairly frequently. This visit the food was really good. The deep-fried chicken burrito was packed with flavor and juicy. The service was fair. Our waitress just seemed to disappear, and of course, i was waiting for another margarita. The atmosphere is usually comfortable and fun. Just my opinion, but it seems like the service is starting to dwindle............We will see!!
