Penticton Toyota

I brought my 2022 Highlander Hybrid in for service because the car would turn off during idle. My car sat their for 4 hours (which is fine). The problem is I was billed 200 dollars because technicians found nothing wrong and told me it is a hybrid function. So far, other than the bill, no big problem. The problem starts with the technician not knowing a common hybrid function of a car. The biggest problem was the actual answer. I'm the technician answer I was told that in order to protect the alternator the car turns off. Hybrids do not have an alternator! Furthermore, when I asked to void the bill, they accepted. That is when a superior came over and explained that the technician doesn't get paid if I don't pay my bill. Why would you accept voiding the bill, to then imply the customer is making the employee work for free. To sum up this really long review. The technicians could have told me. 1 the hybrid function on the car is why it turns off. 2. Don't lie about how the car works! 3. Not guilt your customers for waisting an entire day when I could have been working. Very bad experience overall and I honestly do not believe the answers I was given due to the explanation.

Incredible staff!! We had such an awesome experience at Penticton Toyota. My husband needed a new truck on Monday as he was leaving to go out of town for work. We searched online and found a couple of used vehicles at Penticton Toyota and they contacted us immediately. The salesman (Brian) was so awesome sending us a video of the truck we were interested in. When we got there he had everything ready for us to test drive and other vehicles that might interest us. Unfortunately they didn't fit our need. Just as we were about to leave a vehicle came into the parking lot from the service department. It had just been delivered and set up for the customer that ordered it but then didn't want it. We grabbed it! From the initial inquiry to driving off the lot was completely streamlined. The Penticton Toyota team work like a well oiled machine. Making sure we understood our warranties and maintenance. The financing was so easy to understand and a great interest rate was offered. Truly a pleasure to buy a vehicle from them. Thank you to all the staff and Hash Toor for coming in on your day off! It was a joy to hang out with you, your wife and children.

I have been driving for almost 45 years, and have purchased many a vehicle at many a dealership over the years. My experience at Penticton Toyota was by far, THE best vehicle purchase experience I have ever had. From the time we ordered our new 2023 Tacoma to the time we picked up was an excellent buying experience. What a fantastic experience it was dealing with Brian, Earnie, John, and Ashley throughout the entire process. I bought a slightly used truck from them and after getting an independent inspection done, there were a few little things that needed to be handled, which Toyota Penticton did as quickly as possible. They even picked us up and gave us a ride down to the dealership and had plates waiting for us! Overall, one of the best buying experiences we have been through when buying a vehicle!
