This restaurant is one of the best spots for those who love hyderabadi biryani, either veg or non-veg. However, I feel like it’s too spicy masala mixed with almost plain basmati rice, but the taste will be good-if you’re a spice lover. We also ordered street style gobi and special chicken nawabi masala which tasted delicious. However, we are disappointed with the quantity provided for full tandoori chicken, which seemed like only half is provided. Apart from that, everything is nice and quality is also good for the price range.

Have been ordering quite a lot from this place as their menu options are extremely unique & interesting! Loved most of their curries and appetizers up until last week where we ordered the Nawab Special Chicken Masala. The Curry we got was extremely runny and watery with not so great flavors. Note that we have ordered this particular dish multiple times previously and it was one of our most favorites. We had tried their Butter Chicken in the past but that was way too runny for us to reorder it. I am not sure if their Chef has changed or if they simply add water when they are running low on the gravy to fill up the takeout container. Either way, was very disappointed with the most recent order. Might still try it again because have had better experiences in the past but the inconsistency isn't helping here much.

So I recently tried Nawabs Indian Cuisine and let me tell you, the Achari chicken was a real hit as a starter. I was thinking of pairing it with some whiskey, but since I had already chugged a beer, I left that thought behind.Moving on to the main course, Ludhiana style chicken and Methi Malai paneer were absolute game-changers. The combination of masalas used was on point and gave an authentic taste of India. The quantity was quite generous too, enough for two people to share. But let me tell you, the menu was a bit confusing as it has dishes from all over India. From Andhra chicken curry to Ludhiana chicken and even Bihari Kebab, they seem to have it all. I'm amazed at how they're managing this diversity in food. Now, coming to the not-so-good part, the service was a bit lackluster as the staff was understaffed that day. Also, as the restaurant is relatively new, they have some teething issues with the menu, like the absence of a liquor and dessert menu. The Tandoori Naan was a bit of a letdown too as it didn't seem to be authentic and seemed to be pre-packaged. However, they were having an issue with tandoor and accepted their mistake and gave me a small discount from their end. Courteous people, I must say!Overall, I would recommend Nawabs Indian Cuisine if you're looking for some delicious, unique Indian food. However, they need to work on their service and Tandoor situation. On a final note, I did see they were getting a lot of Uber and Doordash orders, so that show it good Indian food.

Wow! Came to this place based on my friend's recommendation. This is the best Andhra restaurant I've been to in Canada. No doubt about that. All the meat dishes were great and the mutton dishes were so tender and perfectly cooked. Definitely worth trying. I'd love it even more if they open in windsor.

Edit: Tried the restaurant again. Reducing one star from the earlier rating as they outdone themselves in screwing up the service and food too. Paneer Tikka was burnt, Chicken Chettinad was not actually what it's supposed to be. To people who decide to eat here, please confirm before ordering how the dish is made. Probably not coming back again.Great food, immature and bad serviceFirst visit to the restaurant. Ordered achari paneer tikka, mix veg curry and breads which all tasted amazing. Server mixed up the order of mutton ghee roast, served starter instead of the curry that I ordered. What in the end came back was not mutton ghee roast but regular a mutton curry - server won’t agree and says thats how we make it - sad bcoz that was the only reason I opted to visit this place. After lots of waiting for the right food, missed items that I ordered, we ate what we were given and went our way.Servers seems inexperienced, and not able to handle 10 people/3table rush on a Friday evening. I guess I’ll only order delivery then and stick to vegetarian items on the menu.Wasn’t charged for the missed and incorrect item upon complaining. 5 star for vegetarian food, minus 1 star for bad service.

Food was good, although service was a little slow. Even naan were little dry but other than that, devil chicken, paneet tikka masala, biryani were good. I really like the atmosphere of the restaurant. I might visit it again. Hopefully service would improve.

Went to pickup food around 11pm today. Ordered veg manchurian fried rice & chicken biryani. There was no manchurian gravy in rice & it was not veg fried rice….it was plane rice with peas & carrots. Biryani was also plain. It took them 20-30mins to prepare this order.Quantity is good but taste & quality is not good as per price.Nawaab’s ….please promise what you say ….didn’t like the food at all.

I recently visited Nawabs Indian restaurant and had a great experience. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and the staff was friendly and attentive. The menu offered a variety of delicious options, and I opted for the Hyderabad dum biryani and chicken tikka kebab. It was cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor.

I dined in here and ordered Andrea Karam Kodi, Chicken Tikka Masala with Butter, Garlic & Chilli Garlic Naan Breads. I love spicy and that’s exactly what I got with the softest naans ever!!! The staff is great and the food is amazing!!! Good experience overall, love this place for Indian Cuisine in Kitchener :D

Thought I’d go out and enjoy dinner at a nice restaurant on a Friday evening. Went in and was impressed with the ambiance at first, nice decor, music and only one other table so pretty empty for a Friday evening. Server dropped by after some 15-20 mins. I don’t blame him, they’re too busy with online orders. Front desk/bar was always busy with 4-5 delivery drivers waiting.Asked how they make 4-5 different paneer appetisers, server wasn’t well versed so the assistant cook dropped by to help. Kind of him, I thought. Asked to recommend a charcoal paneer appetiser that was spicy. Gave me two suggestions: Achari and Hariyali, the latter would come with mint, so I went with it. Veg. Kolhapuri is inherently spicy as well, so ordered that for the main course. Specifically asked to make it Indian spicy. Requested to bring the appetiser first. First came the garlic naan, then came veg. kohlapuri which was everything but that. More on that later. I asked about the appetiser, this time the manager in charge took charge and asked for 2 mins, got my dish after 15 mins. By then the naan was cold.I would have gladly accepted all of this if it was even close to good. Paneer appetiser wasn’t spicy at all. The whole outer portion was burnt in a way that you could taste eating burnt food. The inner portion was just like eating paneer from the grocery store, no flavour whatsoever, and oh the mint sauce? Water under the bridge.Have you ever had veg. kohlapuri with big chunks of paneer and potatoes? Meet Nawab’s veg. kohlapuri, this is how they make it here, said the manager. I dare not ask more Qs, eat at once. Why the 3 star? Well, the manager was kind enough to offer a complimentary paneer 65 appetiser when I lamented about my agony from this blind date with the Nawab’s. Also, because he let me know a secret. He said, sir this restaurant is (only) famous for Biryani. I think he meant this is all you can expect if you order vegetarian there. Full marks to him for his honesty, and the complimentary dish, which I’d refrain from mentioning why it’s better to sauté paneer at home and have it with your fav sauce then order there.I hope they fix/remove their homemade version dishes.
