Over priced horrible apartments with cockroaches and terrible management avoid at all costs they refuse to fix anything and blame you

I used to live there with those tough managers, i was looking for 3 bedroom and the manager told me we have one but you can not see it or know which floor or which building is it, and than i found some one came to see my apartment. When i told her what she told me the other manger said no she can not do that it's illegal. I would never reccomend any one even to visit that disgusting place .

Current employees are doing the best they can to keep up! We sincerely appreciate Hayder’s diligence in getting us a place. He seems genuinely concerned for our well-being :)

. Very unsafe. There was one instant where the main entrance door was bang in rage and there was some one yelling at 5 am. The glass was broken. Second instance some one broke into my apartment and stole my car keys and stole my car. It’s a awful place to live

You're better off looking elsewhere. It is not really pet friendly, if your cat gets out they will give it to the SPCA. I was outside with mine as he ate grass and then there was a notice the next day. They check for bugs every 3 months which invades your right to quiet enjoyment, and use their own maintenance guys to do the job instead of paying a professional to have the treatment last 6 or more months. One of their wankers won't stop parking in the Handicap spot, and the only ones who can report him are Mainstreet.

Main street bought up this location in February. They worked hard on fixing the nasty roaches issue but still violate the RTA and fire codes.The current manager lies to prospective tenants and current ones. They fail at following the most simple of RTA laws. Giving incorrect written notice for entry. Refusing legal tender, will not attend to repairs unless you give them written notice, have been letting renovators prop fire doors and front doors open for MONTHS. which has already caused the mail boxes to be broken into multiple times.They also illegally dump on site as well. (pics taken)The fail at hiring proper professional staff for renovations, repairs and office staff. Just recently it took them five days to improperly knock down a paper wasp nest growing above the front doors of one of the five buildings. It is already growing a new nest. (pics taken)Walking around and into each building you can find fire doors propped wide open firmly. for months.When reported to the fire department... nothing was even done. It is still being investigated.(pics and video taken)The current manager is so unprofessional and seems to be completely unaware that she is breaking more laws then she even knows... she seems to not know a single rule in the RTA and has already bullied multiple tenants on PWD. (pics of improper letters)Moving here.. GET FIRE INSURANCE. since they do not care about the risks. If u do move in.. ALWAYS give written notice quoting the RTA to get anything done.These are slumlords... who take FULL advantage of people who know nothing of their rights as a tenant.This is coming from a tenant who has lived on site BEFORE main street bought it.The new management on site are 100% not professional.And thank god .. I and other long term tenants have been documenting everything stated above. These are real concerns. Pics and video have been taken of all claims above.Move here at risk. chronic insects infestations, chronic issues with repairs being attended to, chronic misinformation given by office staff. Chronic unprofessional ism.Acorn has started sniffing around .. it is that bad.

RENTER BEWAREIf you can find ANYWHERE ELSE to live than live there rather than at these apartments. My boyfriend and I had high hopes for this apartment when we moved in a year ago.Then the problems came...So many cockroaches. I have never seen a cockroach until I moved into this place. No matter how clean we kept the place there were still hundreds everywhere! It got to the point where I couldn't even go into the kitchen and I was barely eating anything because of how disgusted I was by the cockroaches. Even if you're clean neighbors who aren't will attract them.The renovations that were recently done are sloppy and took forever to complete. The workers left a gasoline tank just outside our window overnight. And the fire alarm would go off at all times of day and night when there was no fire. Even the firefighters didn't understand the fire panel because it was so outdated and didn't work properly.I've never seen so many police officers in all my life. I've woken up to screaming matches right outside my window between two neighbors.Now that my boyfriend and I have moved into a new apartment we have to be extremely cautious not to bring any cockroaches with us. We're checking everything to make sure that we don't have this problem again.Mainstreet Biz doesn't know how to run a business.

Living in this complex for over 7 years now, when I first moved in, there had been numerous pest control and security issues around the complex, and I had arrived after Main Street had purchased the property, previously known as BonTerra. I was grandfathered into my roommate's rental agreement and it's still in effect today.The current iteration of MainStreet staff, in 2022, are doing their best to get to know their tenants and help to address their concerns in a more efficient manner, and have improved upon many things, such as pest control, addressing parking spaces, making sure activities aren't disruptive to other tenants, and encouraging their tenants to report issues as they arise. They are improving each day and I encourage them to continue doing so.

With a pandemic going on right now, they want to enter my apartment to change a 3 month old smoke alarm. Zero common sense or regard for their tenants health and safety.

How the hell is this place charging $1800 for a 1 bedroom when prepandemic it was $1200.Not to mention, this place still has cockroaches. They never plow the parking lot when it snows, too.Disgusting apartment building. Greedy corporation.
