NextDoor Restaurant
I had a reservation at NextDoor for 7:15 pm and arrived 10 minutes early. Despite the fact that half the restaurant was empty and there were multiple tables that could fit two people, the staff informed me that I was early and made me wait until my reservation time. This put a bad taste in my mouth. The staff told me they were prepping our table, but I watched as they cleaned a four-person table that wasn’t even ours. I was disappointed that they lied and never addressed it with us.The dinner service was slow and took almost an hour to prepare a beef tartare and oysters. This was shocking because the restaurant wasn’t full and I didn’t understand why it took so long. I could see that others at the restaurant were also experiencing the same issue. They had loads of serving staff but clearly not enough kitchen staff.The mains came out warm, making me feel like they sat there for a while. They were also extremely small and more like fine dining style than entrees. Normally, I have been impressed by NextDoor, but the change in the menu and horrific service from their staff means I would highly recommend you go somewhere else.

NextDoor Restaurant
Personally I’m a huge breakfast guy and this place I highly recommend if you have a sweet tooth. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very pleasant and the location is on Main Street Unionville which is one of the nicest areas in the GTA. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and and fresh. I would highly recommend the French toast as that’s my favourite thing on the menu. Definitely worth the try here.

We booked a regular table to celebrate a guest's birthday ahead of time. Upon arrival, we were told that the regular tables were all booked by a wedding party. We were only left with the option of being seated at one of the high tables, which was quite disappointing and embarrassing.The restaurant really needs to improve on their online reservation system and the protocol to handle and notify their customers if the desired type of spot isn't available.However, in general, the food and its representation were great.Lastly, one thing to be mindful of is that the default lowest percentage was set at a pretty high rate.

Hands down my favourite brunch spot, got the brunch tower, SO SO GOOD. Ube pancakes were so good, mouth watering. Service was amazing! Got seated pretty quickly with no reservation. Interior is very elegant, highly recommended. Brunch tower was $55 serves 2 people, so worth it!

We went here on the canada day weekend and the service greeting us was great, we got a table on the patio very quickly even though our booking was for the inside. The menu is all on the phone. We ordered the brunch tower for 2 and it was a ton of food, definitely quantity for price is worth it, and the mostly food was great, nothing too impressive but paired with the ambience, it makes for a great experience! The reason was for the poor review of food was that the bacon turned out quite soggy and worst of all, there was a rather large lump of uncooked flour inside our pancakes. That left a very bad taste for the rest of the meal... i would recommend this place but i hope the QA is better from the kitchen next time

My boyfriend and I shared the Brunch Tower which was very filling and tasted good. I would recommend eating the pancakes first or at the same time as the savory food on the first level since they did get tough to chew and cut. The potato wedges and sausages were great! It is somewhat pricey for brunch but I loved the cleanliness and atmosphere of the restaurant. We ate outside but had lots of shade.

Food is perfect here. Very delicious and good look. The view is also great. You can enjoy a comfortable atmosphere in this restaurant. However, we waited our main dishes after the appetizer for over one hour. Super hungry! But the service is still good! Recommend!

Really tasty brunch place with an Asian twist. Food and service was great. It was a bit of a wait (just over an hour) but we were an odd amount of 5 people. Cute view on the little river on the terrace

I visited Unionville and had brunch here. The exterior of the old building was used as it is, and the waterwheel is also running. The interior is bright with several large windows, and the restaurant has a high ceiling. I like that it is spacious and bright. The table is also a white wooden table, so the food looks more delicious and it comes out pretty even if you take a picture. I ordered the brunch tower and it looks so nice. It's even delicious. This is a cafe that girls will love. It's good for two women to drink coffee together after ordering the brunch tower. I'm willing to visit again.

It's been quite sometime that we've been wanting to eat here. The place was nice and comforting with friendly atmosphere on a Friday evening. The hostess and serving staff were delightful to deal with and were very eager to serve.The food was delicious with beautiful presentation. Since we got there for half price happy hour we got a chance to explore the menu.Don't skip on this place as it has alot of great treats to try and the environment was great.
