Offensively small quantity of food. Rude server. We did not give a tip because of rudeness. The server started fighting with us saying 15% tip is mandatory by law. The French server seemed racist. Are you serious! The food was bland on top. I would avoid at all cost

I should’ve listened to the reviews. WORST BUTTER CHICKEN I’VE EVER HAD!!! Absolutely no flavor, definitely sweet like syrup was added to it. Biryani was horrible, no flavor whatsoever. I have eaten at a lot of different Indian restaurants (not to mention 3 days ago when I first arrived here to Montreal) THIS IS BY FAR THE WORSE I’VE HAD! It’s such a shame because the place is quaint, relaxing, nice atmosphere and our server was very attentive. Not sure what’s going on with the cook. If I was the owner I would definitely pay attention to the customers!Also food had way too much food coloring.

Stopped in when walking by in Old Montreal. I love Indian food and will have it whenever I'm traveling. Despite not having a reservation they seated us in a nice table near a window. It got busy really quickly. Food came out un a reasonable amount of time. Our waiters were veey nice. Food was delicious!

Food was not the Indian food you crave for ..it felt a make shift food .. Butter paneer had so much of food color that the dish looked pink ...!Veg Thali was a gimmick....Channa was not a Channa i wanna eat any given dayEven though the ambient atmosphere good service was great !

The cuisine served is not Indian cuisine. The food tasted terrible, the flavor and spice balance were completely off. This restaurant team doesn’t understand the concept of Indian thali. Non-Indian restaurants should not use Indian name and brand to lure and fool customers.

Ate at Ghandi for the first time 5 years ago and have returned every time we are back in Montreal. The service is excellent, the atmosphere welcoming and classy and the food is always top notch. Absolutely worth the trip to Old MontrealPaul and Lise

One of the worst food I’ve ever had in Canada. All of the curries I ordered were not good. None of them was freshly cooked. Looked like they just warmed it up and served. Portion size it not even enough for 2 person. I seriously left my food as is, paid the bill and went away to have something good.I would recommend to not waste your money.

TLDR: Do not go to this restaurant unless you want to experience the worst vegetarian food.I recently visted Montreal with Family. We wanted to see the Old Port after having a nice Indian dinner. We saw that Restaurant Gandhi was nearby and wanted to try out. Though I read the bad" reviews before
