Visited this lovely little park twice while I was on a solo trip to Montreal. Loved the calm, quiet and the shade under the hot summer sun. After roaming around the streets of Montreal all day, for 2 days, this is where I used to rest and give my feet a break from the long walks. The fountain here is oh so beautiful and so is the view of the pretty and colourful 'Les Galeries du Palais' building. I miss it already. Hope to be back soon - with bae! ❤️

A must-see when you're visiting Montreal! Stunning visuals with the fountain fire and the fog generated from it at the nearby park place. Took pictures of my son there on our latest vacation trip in August. Highly recommend going to the province of Quebec and to Montreal!

Love this fountain in Montréal. Eye candy of the city. Every hour from 7 to 11 p.m. during the summer the fountain transform to a show of fire water and mist. A must see

Beautiful tribute to a great artist. Unfortunately, the fountain is not working on this sunny May weekend. Can’t wait to see this piece of art with the water and fire effect, I might give the 5th star! ⭐️ *** Edit *** What a desappointment! It is true that the sculpture is really majestic in mist and fire, but according to the website, you can see a « 30-minute spectacle ». Let's be honest, this is not a show. The moment when the sculpture is bathed in fog and the fire lights on lasts at most 5 minutes. It is very beautiful, but in my opinion, it is not worth paying for parking. To see if you happen to pass by. Originally gave 4 stars for the amazing work of art, but for deceived expectations, I now give 3 stars.

Certainly not the spectacle" that the website says. 30mins of just smoke and fountain water on full. I see that some people have photos of fire on the water. We watched for 45mins from the scheduled start time but no fire. I guess the guy that fills the gas is on holidays..."

It's a magic garden in a crowded city. In summer, there would be artificial cool mist coming out of the ground, maing the whole garden looks like if it was on the cloud. It is also very refreshing! Love this place!

This place of relaxation and contemplation in the Quartier international de Montréal is bordered to the north by avenue Viger and to the south by rue Saint-Antoine. To the east is the main entrance to the Palais des Congrès de Montreal and to the west is the Centre CDP Capital. At the north end, a basin showcases the work of Jean Paul Riopelle entitled La Joute, the central element of which is a fountain with changing water jets. A ring of fire lights up on the surface of the water during summer evenings. This work was previously been installed at the Olympic Stadium in Montreal in 1976 before being moved to its present location in 2004.
