I have used Star electronics to fix any board issue we've had for the last 10 years. David has always done a great job.

Took a little while but the guy fixed my projector. I don't think there's anywhere else I could have gone to get it fixed up.

I had the tv with back light problem He said he is gonna replace all and charged me $220 but he just replace 2 piece of it instead of all of them and he didnt reply my message l texted him when l recieve the tv , he didnt reply my messages. When l came to his store to show pictures he told me this tv needs back lights l told him you replaced them few days ago after that he said This is unit problem l can not fixed. I asked how about 90 days warranty and l got reply “he cannot do anyting about thay”

David repaired the circuit board for my washer. The machine now works better than before!Keep up the good work!

Broken Viewsonic projector that I brought in for assessment. Was diagnosed and fixed for a good and honest price. Showed me the replacement parts and how much they cost on the Viewsonic website, and they had actually went on sale and David charged me an amount LOWER than the original quoted price because of this. Great service

I got my TV diagnosed by Excel Electronics (for free) and was told that my panel was the issue and it wasn't worth fixing. So I took it here to Star Electronics for a 2nd opinion. I should've just saved my gas money and trusted Excel.Unfortunately the guy at Star wanted to charge me $60 for his time to diagnose, and additionally asked for a $300 deposit because he had to order a part to diagnose the issue and said that the part might not even the problem. How does a reputable repairman jump to ordering parts when you haven't even opened the tv up to look at it. Then he starts pointing at other TVs and tells me those ones cost $600 to fix. At that point I took my TV and left. He seemed like he just wanted to charge me to order a part with no promises of even figuring out what was wrong, let alone a fix.Word of advice, go to Excel Electronics.

I took one of my Panasonic VCRs to Star about a year ago and he got it fixed right up when my 2nd Hand Tape of Dances With Wolves somehow caused it to go on the blink.Then on New Years Day, the Tape got caught in the mechanisms from when I was watching my Tape of Les Miserables.Since he fixed up my VCR so well last time, I am letting him have another go at restoring another VCR I have that has went on the Blink in 2019 when I was doing some copying of my LOTR Tapes.I hope he Fixes this VCR as well as he did the last time.Some people call him Rude but it is just that he is not as Personable as some others might be so I am not holding that against him too much.

The store is a bit hard to find, and looks sketchy especially if you go through the front where you have to go through a set of doors that lead to a massage place, the out again to the back. But he was able to fix the control board for a freezer, and the evaporator fan motor for less than half the cost of just the control board alone. And they don't even sell the evaporator fan motor I need, so it was either fix this little motor or get a new fridge.
