I am visiting from out of town and broke a tooth. Tacoma Dental fit me into their schedule for both the checkup and the fixing of the tooth in a very efficient manner, even getting me in sooner than planned for the fix when they had a cancellation. I have a big fear of dentists and they put my mind at ease every step of the way. I very nearly fell asleep at my appointment while they fixed my tooth - normally I leave a dentist office with a sore jaw from clenching (and fingernail imprints in my palms!) but not this time. Will make this my go-to dentist and will schedule appointments here whenever I'm home in NS visiting.

I had been a patient of Dr. Thomas, as were my children and my mother, for years. I had moved away and I’m now residing back in Nova Scotia and two weeks ago I called with the expectation that I might get in where I had a terrible swollen jaw and aching mouth. The receptionist Was very unconcerned and told me to go elsewhere but will try to fit me in. I hadn’t heard and called again and still no empathy or sympathy to my situation. I have a fear of dentists and felt Dr. Thomas would help. I still have heard nothing and I am appalled, As I thought Dr. Thomas was much more professional and empathetic/sympathetic. No worries I will find another dentist. Not impressed whatsoever!

My family and I have been going to Dr. Thomas at Tacoma Dental for years. The care is personal, thorough and questions are readily answered. Dr. Thomas is detail oriented and works with you to come up with the best plan for dental care. Continuing education is ongoing with her and her staff which is an important part of their practice. It is one of the reasons that I feel confident in her recommendations.
