Eye Spy Optometry

The team at Eye Spy Optometry is amazing! I have seen Dr. Ross as my eye doctor for 6 years now and I've always had a positive experience. The support team is just as helpful and encouraging... especially when picking out new frames! Recently I had suffered from long term concussion symptoms. I couldn't wear my glasses for long periods of time so I went to see Dr. Ross to see how I could improve my situation. He told me I would be a great candidate for vision therapy. After 10 weeks of vision therapy I am back to myself. In fact I feel I have improved my vision prior to my accident. I didn't know anything about vision therapy but my trust was high for Dr. Ross and his team since I've had such a great experience in the past. I would highly recommend vision therapy to anyone who has suffered from a head injury. I also found the vision therapy to be highly effective in improving my situation at work where I sit at a desk on a computer for the majority of my day. Thank you to the great team at Eye Spy!

Dr. Ross is very good at explaining eye health. I understand a lot better now how to care for my vision and why certain things trigger degeneration of the eyes. I’m so glad to be a patient of this clinic. The staff is always friendly, helpful and kind.

The Office Manager is such a rude, terrible, dishonest, very unprofessional, empty headed, unintelligent, ignorant, incompetent, and unacceptable person/manager who violates the regulations / ACO Guidelines. The Dr. Ross is good as an optometrist, but not good as one of the clinic's representatives, unfortunately.-----Reply to the reply to Eye Spy: As you know, everything I wrote here is true and a fact. I gave her, the Office Manager, the chance to make the wrongdoing she committed and her unacceptable rude attitudes and words right, but she and your office ended up choosing to ignore the misconduct and unprofessional actions and the issues she took and caused, as well as the chance I gave you guys to make them right. It's funny that you say Please feel free to give us a call to discuss the matter on hand further." because you guys are the ones who ended up ignoring me without solving the issues. Lol I can show the evidence to the public and prove it if you want. I don't mind doing that."

Dr. Ross and all of the amazing staff at Eye Spy go above and beyond! By far the friendliest, most thorough exam you can receive! I can't say enough about the skill and customer service provided. They are truly in a class of their own. I refer all of my friends and family here and will continue to do so until everyone has met Dr. Ross!

Second time seeing Dr Ross for my eye exam, after a few years. As someone previously mentioned, he is incredibly thorough, knowledgeable, and so much fun to be around. The way he explained what's going on in my eye, including showing me the back of my eyeballs/retina, explaining how various factors impact the long term health of my eyes (with the two leading factors of eye issues being macular degeneration and glaucoma) and suggesting ways to treat dry eye is both fascinating and practical. It's one of the few medical exams I actually enjoy getting every single time. Definitely the highlight of my day. Highly recommended!**Update Jun 3 2021: Lara just saved a bunch of glasses purchased elsewhere I was afraid would not work for me. She measured everything from the ocular height to the pupillary distance to the prescription to find that my issue was with base curve sensitivity, and fixed them up. Learning something new every time I come here. Thanks again for all the awesome work!!**

Becca was amazing! And made shopping for glasses a lot of fun.. the rest of the staff (sorry don't remember names) were very helpful! What a great team I recommend Eye Spy to everyone great knowledge and fun people

I cannot express how strongly I recommend this optometrist and office. I have been to many, and never have I had things explained so thoroughly and completely. Dr. Ross is phenomenal at his job and at creating a welcoming environment. My (almost) three year old has been seen here a few times as well and he loves it. The staff and technicians go the extra mile for us and I wouldn’t trust any one else with his care. Please do yourself and your family a favour and visit this clinic.

On my flight into Calgary, the screw in the frame of my glasses fell out, causing the lense to pop out. I was flying in with work for an overnight event and am pretty blind without my glasses so needless to say I was panicking a little! We found Eye Spy and popped in to see if they could assist. The team was so wonderful and didn’t even hesitate. They were so friendly and helpful, and got my glasses fixed up in minutes. 100% saved the trip! And they wouldn’t let me pay! Thank you so so much.

Dr. Ross is by far the best optometrist we have ever seen. He is insanely smart, kind, and personable. He's always very thorough, and explains everything very well. The women that work in the front of the store are just as amazing and helpful. Lara has always helped hook us up with really stylish frames, and been super helpful when it comes to working everything out with insurance.They are also really awesome if there's ever any issues. They take the time to really listen to the problem and come to the best solution. When I got my newest pair of glasses, the prescription was really off on one of the lenses (I felt like i was wearing beer goggles, haha), but they were able to get it fixed for me right away, and now they're perfect.I recommend Eye Spy to literally everyone I know.
