Spectrum Oral Surgery

I got all four of my wisdom teeth taken out at Spectrum Oral Surgery - Dr. Wong and his staff did a phenomenal job! Everyone was professional, friendly, and knew what they were doing. As a patient, I felt taken care of before, during, and after the procedure.Dr. Wong is really personable and explained everything to me before the procedure. After the procedure, my mouth ended up healing quicker than I expected - probably because he did a great job with the surgery and because his staff gave me some detailed post-surgery instructions to follow at home.Overall, I'd highly recommend him and his staff.

Not much to say , unfortunately not the best. First off the older ladies at the desk are rude. I was told come in for a consult after I told them I have pain in the jaw, no referral required. Day before another lady calls saying I do need a referral, ok, but, don't tell someone referral from dentist is optional. Dr Ho refuses to take x-rays and relies heavily on old x-rays from your dentist. Best of all, there was a power outage and he checked me in the dark with mirror only. No xrays. No real solution . Apart from driving between Georgetown and Mississauga wasting time, gas. I know the power outage is beyond their control but 200 dollars for a 10 min consult in the dark is absurd. At least a 100 dollars off would be nice since there was no real diagnosis.Find another oral surgeon...

I recently went to the Mississauga office to have my wisdom teeth extracted by Dr. Wong. I was very pleased with all aspects of this process. Although I was anxious going into the surgery, Dr. Wong and his staff were committed to making me feel comfortable and safe during the entire procedure. Dr. Wong, the amazing nurses and assistants followed up after the surgery and made themselves available to answer any questions or concerns I had. Overall, I could not have been happier with choosing this team and I would highly recommend them.

Dr. Hi and his team has been fantastic. His approach is great and takes his time to answer any questions. Their Covid screening and in house procedures made me feel extremely comfortable. Each room has a special air purifier and they are meticulous about disinfecting all of the small details like pens, door handles and they do it visibly so you can see it. Only one person allowed in waiting room at a time and you cannot enter until they call you up from your car or lobby. I wish all dental and doctors offices were this good.Well done Spectrum!

I went in to have two wisdom teeth removed yesterday, and let's just say that I was a little nervous. The nurses and front of house staff were awesome as was the anasthisialogist. Dr. Wong was top notch! really made a tough patient feel at ease and got me under quickly. Can't say enough good things about this place. Great experience from start to finish. AND the procedure ended up costing $300 less than quoted! Very honest and customer centric office. Would recommend this office and all it's staff 100%!!!!

I have had the pleasure of dealing with Kathy at Spectrum Oral several times over the past few months. She is beyond amazing. Thanks for always going above and beyond!!!! Dr Ho was also very good to deal with. Thank you!

Although the staff and nurses are very polite and helpful I unfortunately sustained inferior alveolar nerve damage during my lower impacted wisdom tooth extraction by Dr. Ho and am still suffering from severe paresthesia (reduced and abnormal sensation, along with altered painful sensations) in my lower lip and chin over 10 days after the surgery.

The work performed by Dr Ho and his nurses was top notch. Unfortunately they do not follow patient consent. I made it clear to all nurses and doctors that there were to be no pain medications administered before, during or after the procedure (cyst removal). They administered 75mcg of fentanyl after being told that any pain medication was against my consent. This matter is now before the Royal College of Dental Surgeons, as well as the College of Nurses Ontario.As stated the work was good, but they do not listen or take into account patient consent.Find another clinic.

I had wisdom tooth surgery last week and I cannot emphasize how satisfied I was with the whole process. During consultation Dr. Ho took time to explain everything, see if I have questions, etc. He sent me for an additional x-ray due to nerve complications so that he can decide on type of procedure he wants to do. Once the results were back he called me to explain in detail and make sure I am comfortable with the plan. The staff that I interacted with was incredible as well: patient, attentive, knowledgeable and empathetic. Before, during and after the surgery everything was done in a highly professional, knowledgeable, painless, caring way. I was very nervous because of the anesthesia and the whole team did everything to make me comfortable: supporting, explaining, understanding why I am nervous and helping. I could not have been happier. The day after the surgery, the nurse called to make sure that everything is going well and asked specific questions: am I bleeding, eating, do I have fever, how is the pain, etc. Before my follow up I got into more pain and during the checkup Dr. Ho took time to understand what is wrong and help me. I cannot express how thankful I am to come across Dr. Ho and his team. If I had more wisdom teeth left I would go to them again, and would highly recommend their services.

I just want to thank Dr. Ho, nurses and office staff for their friendly, and professional care. I was referred there on 3 occasions cus the dentist could not take tooth out due to high blood pressure up to 187 and 200. Dr. Ho was so calm and the staff all made me so comfortable that made my blood pressure to 137. I will highly recommend Spectrum Oral Surgery to all my friends snd family.
