Devan Greenhouses

My wife and I really like to dress up our garden and balconies with flowers and tropical plants. We've been to a lot of different shops. My wife's uncle told us about Devan Greenhouses. It's a long drive out on the Fraser Highway and 289th. My wife really wanted to go so we drove out. I was amazed how big this place was and the variety of plants they had, also the number of hanging baskets. Needless to say my wife was like a kid in a candy store. So easy to spend a few hours looking around. The prices were really reasonable compared to all the other garden shops and the staff girl that helped us was great. Devon's was very busy for a weekday I have a feeling the weekends must be crazy there.

Friendly staff, great selection of plants at a reasonable price. Lots of in season gems.Also - a good selection of more rare, fancy indoor plants at a much bigger price point but exactly what is expected for these varieties.

Snapped up a 3 foot Cavendish banana plant for only $24 ! Great value and choice . Baby goats on site currently too .

I've been coming here for years! Purchased many Japanese maple trees, tropical plants, succulents and even cacti and tillandsia. I love the big Boston ferns they sell in the hanging baskets and the prices for plants are very good. One caveat is that I once brought a plant home with thrips that wiped out 2/3 of my tropical plants despite my best efforts, and I've brought home mealiebugs on cacti also without knowing until it was too late. So be sure to check your plants carefully!

When I first visited Devan Greenhouses, I described it to someone as a place that is warm and alive. It felt almost magical with the bright flower colours, beautiful foliage and birds and butterflies flying around! Everyone in our family enjoys visiting here.The quality of the seeds and plants is fantastic. We restock our seeds here and have gotten several annual seedlings over the years as well. Everything has grown well with proper care!Finally, the customer service has always been great when we've needed it. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Even in the busiest season, there's always someone who's able to point you in the right direction of a specific plant, find an answer, or get a basket down!

It's far from where I live but it's worth the drive. I brought many beautiful plants, Spring flower baskets, and a Salad mix plant.
