I think this is the first review I've left for a place but this restaurant deserves the absolute world. This place immediately skyrocketed to the top of my list of best Montreal restaurants. Everything - from the food, to the drinks, to the service, to the vibes, to the prices - was perfect. I just spent a few weeks in Spain and can confirm the tapas is the real deal (the chef herself is from Barcelona I'm fairly sure). The staff were the sweetest and made us feel at home.In particular, this place is great for queer folks. My trans girlfriend and I were greeted confidently with a good evening

As soon as you step in, you'll be surprised by how warm and cozy the place is. Carmen makes you feel at home and takes time to explain every intricate detail about the menu. She will also make pairing suggestions if needed, such as the pan con tomate" and the "boquerones".The only regret is not trying it out earlier

Cute little restaurant with authentic Spanish tapas. Must try marinated olives and chorizos, their tomato salad with basil dressing was amazing as well. Try calamari with Bao buns, it's more fun and delightful than just calamari itself. Highly recommended.

We really enjoyed this lively little restaurant, this one ranks among the highest for us in Montreal! The staff were really courteous and helped explain the subtleties of the menu. The seating arrangements were comfortable and heated. The restaurant has lots of colors and feels inviting. There were delicious complementary olives, super tasty and not the everyday kind you can find in a supermarket. We ordered the croquettes for appetizers. We were pleasantly surprised by the expertise of textures! Beautiful crunchy batter with an extremely creamy smooth filling. The mayo was obviously homemade (as is every item on the menu) and had a really unique fragrance. The boudin ibérique, was a great dish. The poached egg yellow just melts into a natural sauce, garnishing the mushroom assortments with punchy notes from the smoked boudin. We ordered the beef cannoli, again great experience! The beef was slow cooked to perfection and reminded me of the beef stews my grandma would cook for hours. Finally the desert was quite a surprise. The chocolate ganache came with a unique set of ingredients: fleur de sel and olive oil. It was a little unconventional but it definitely passed the taste test. The plates are very small but very consistent so after a three course meal I was stuffed. We ended up eating for 30$ per head including taxes and tips, for a very affordable and enjoyable evening.Thank you Bo’ Dégât!

Loved the experience, I recommend it:-Great service, with lots of information.-Good tasting food (mostly the squid ink bao, and spinach cannelon sauce). We booked 2 hours before going as the place has only a few tables.

Great Spanish tapas place! The food was delicious. We had the octopus that was so soft, not chewy at all. We also had two of the special tapas, tomato salad and truffle tortilla, both super tasty. The croquetas were soft and tasty. The Spinach cannelloni was also decent. The service was good with good wine recommendations, but we weren't aware that we only had 2 hours, so just make sure to time yourself. I would definitely go back to try more tapas and maybe their dessert.

Cute tapas place for a fun night or a celebration. The squid ink bao and octopus were the highlights. Lots of choices for hot and cold tapas, I’ll be back to try more off their menu. The plates are decently sized, get two per person

I came here with my bf on a whim because La Belle Tonki had a big line outside and we’re both SO glad this turn of fate happened! We were delighted from beginning to end. We started with their special white anchovies, I had a glass of white wine and he had a virgin Caesar which he said was delicious. We ordered the fried cod balls which were the best I’ve ever had (and I’ve been to Spain twice), the grilled octopus, the lamb skewers with mint and cumin, the garlic shrimp (omg dipping bread into that garlic oil!) and finally the special beef cheek cannelloni, which my bf said was one of the best things he’s ever eaten. Unfortunately, we had no room for dessert. We sat at the bar and though reluctant at first, it turned out to be awesome chatting with the bartender Nao. I practiced my Spanish and we all laughed and it really elevated the dining experience. Highly recommend!
