Great service and location. I also enjoyed staying in the older section of the hotel even though the room was naturally smaller. This was our first time here and it was 25 years or more in the making as we had visited the area a lot as kids, but were never able to stay. We always called it the castle" as it felt straight out of a fairytale. Now

Fantastic price and location for an off-season quick long weekend get away. Our family thoroughly enjoys being able to use the pool facilities, and gym.Food in town while limited during the off-season, is good and reasonably priced. Looking forward to revisiting St. Andrew's this summer when the town is alive and buzzing again.

Fantastic resort! Wonderful staff. Great views. Fun ghost tour. Rental bikes included and a great pool for the kids with a three-story waterslide. Quiet and comfortable rooms, walking distance to downtown with lots of places to eat and visit. St. Andrew's is a beautiful place and this is the best resort there. Don't skip the golf course either, even if you don't play golf, it's something to see. Loved our trip to The Algonquin!

Very nice historic hotel. We splurged on a king junior suite, which gave us a bigger room with a view of the water. Staff are wonderful--very friendly and helpful. Location is great--easy walk to downtown. We ate one dinner and two breakfasts here. Dinner was fabulous; breakfast buffet looked tired. The hotel was beautifully renovated about 10 years ago. The furnishings are starting to show their age. Note that this is a hotel, not a resort--there's not much in the way of activities. Also it is not waterfront, though it's on a hill so there are some water views. I wish tours of the property were offered--its story is fascinating.

This one start is for the Hotel’s Restaurant Dine in experience. I recently dined at their restaurant and unfortunately had a disappointing experience with one of the servers. The server displayed a consistent level of arrogance throughout the interaction, which made me feel uncomfortable and disrespected. The attitude displayed was not in line with the professional and courteous customer service I expect. It's important for service staff to treat all customers with respect and kindness, regardless of their background. I hope the establishment addresses this issue to ensure that all customers regardless of their ethnicity receive the service they deserve.

Room was noisy, doors have no soundproofing. Could hear guests up and down corridors throughout the night. The water in our bathroom was barely warm in the morning. Service was great at the restaurant and so was the food. Only real gripe was with the room itself.

Mediocre at best. Although the hotel is lovely and the historic value is good I didn't find it worth the price. We had several rooms and each had issues. Broken furniture, bad remotes, fireplaces that we couldn't get to work properly. In person service was very friendly but when we called for service it took an hour and a half for chairs and the lady who delivered them was rude. I called about a scheduled room service order that was extremely late. I was kept on hold then hung up on. The food was good but not worth the price. We had better food downtown. Two of us booked at the spa and each had a different experience with the same service. Is it worth the stay sure bit not for the cost.

Another amazing stay at the Algonquin. This is by far the best hotel in N.B. We are always treated like royalty and the staff goes out of their way to help in any way they can. Food at the Braxton is amazing. They now are like family to us. Can’t wait to go back next month on vacation. Thank you. The Strongs.
