We went here as this was highly recommended by our friends:Ambience- chic restaurant, with limited indoors seating and also have bar seating. Cool design on walls.Food- we ordered a bunch of food. The favourites were E’steak Koreano tacos and the nachos.Drinks- got the margarita pitcher - definitely great value for money and great taste as well.Service- very friendly staff and the food came out very quick.Would I go back? Definitely

This neighborhood hot spot closes around 11:30 pm but that doesn't mean it's not a fun time. We had a great time ordering drinks from their cocktail menu and trying their wide range of tequilas. We really appreciated how friendly the staff was, especially Jay and Ben who truly made our night.

All the staff here are attentive and wonderful! The food, however, is just alright. There are better Mexican restaurants in Montreal!

Loved the ribs. They are well marinated and super tender!The steak tacos was also amazing. The grilled cactus inside the tacos wassutle in taste but added an extra layer of texture to the tacos.The terrace is a wonderful place to spend a relaxing friday diner.

Im giving three stars for this first experience in the hopes that the second time, it will pan out differently. I ordered the shrimp ceviche as pictured. This dish is usually served in generous portion, with citrus, onion, chili, coriander. The quantity was appetizer level and the flavours were nil. Disappointing. I was starving an hour later. The highlight was our waiter who was cordial, kind and cheerful.

An impromptu plan when looking for something different to eat landed us in Escondite Monkland.I would say we liked all these three Tacos- Baja Fish, Chicken and the Shredded Beef with Cactus. A drawback on our visit we felt were not many vegetarian options.There were some okay options like mushroom truffle cheese quesadilla, mango salad and CAULIFLOWER taco the one we didn't enjoy at all and couldn't even finish it (very dry, tasteless and the taco was undercooked) we couldn't get anything equally tasty as the non veg. Unfortunately being vegetarian my mother in law couldn't enjoy the food at all as we thought the experience would have been after listening about this place so much.

Amazing staff, very quick service! Our server was super accommodating after running out of jarritos (soda) he offered to make us lime-onade instead! The guacamole, and steak taco was very delicious. Next time, I would recommend adding a slice of lime for guests for added flavor, especially to fish/shrimp tacos. I think if more variety was added to the menu, that would be great! And more non-alc drink options. Also, tables were not as well wiped down as it could have been.

The staff is the absolute bomb! Food is delicious and drinks are so yummy. We had our waiter Jay, but all the waiters always came by said hi it's a great team! JAY IS BETTER THAN BEN!
