Charlie's Sewing Machine
Googled sewing machine repairs and found Charlie. Emailed him and got a response within an hour. Took my machine in and he explained that it was fixable and apologized that it may take at least a week as he was busy. I was totally fine with that and he called as promised when it was ready. Machine is running so well now. Loved his customer service, his work and his pricing too.What I loved most is what he said as I left.....ifyou like my work let others know and if you don't, you had better be calling me! Thanks Charlie!

I had my 1980s Kenmore machine fixed" at a Toronto store but it was still not working when I brought it home. After giving up on finding a place my brother said he would take it to a place in Hamilton. Thank goodness for Charlie's Sewing Machine!!! The machine runs beautifully again and the fee was beyond fair. I have since recommended him to other family members who are just as happy with the service. Thank-you!!"

Wish there were still more places like this around. Charlie's an honest, friendly older gent who runs a nice little shop. He fixed my Singer Machine for a fair price and within a couple of days. If it ever acts up on me again, I know where to go! Highly recommended. Thanks Charlie!

Charlie's Sewing Machine
Charlie is the sweetest guy and really does a great job. It's obvious how much he loves sewing machines--he has all kinds of them in his shop. As for pricing, I doubt you would find a better deal, especially for such good work. The wait time is a few weeks but it just shows how thorough a job he does and how many customers he has. It's really well worth it!

What a service and what a professional job!Rarely does one meet two people who not only love their job but they exemplify good service and craftsmanship. Terry and Charlie are those two people!We have a German Pfaff sewing machine that was not functioning properly. We had taken it to other Pfaff repair places but the problems persisted. I finally took my chances and brought the machine to Charlie’s Sewing Machine and now it is humming beautifully like the good German precision machine it is. We will certainly recommend this place to our friends !I highly recommend this place and they are very reasonable in their pricing.

Charlie is a lovely elderly gentleman. Who is kind, hard working and very knowledgeable. If u want a human old fashioned experience in customer service and not a plastic person, then please visit Charlie's store! His prices are reasonable (the other ones are double) which goes with his generous and kind nature! You r the best Charlie :)

Charlie's Sewing Machine
My Janome machine was acting up and I knew it was overdue for a clean up. I took it to a sewing place downtown and they quoted me at over $150 and said it would take up to 3 weeks to fix. Charlie was able to get my machine back up and running in a few days and for half the price. My machine feels like new! Very pleased with the service and quality.

I took the machine in for repair because it had seized up and Charlie resolved this most satisfactorily. Then I also opted for a tuneup. Get a tuneup everyone! I knew that ever since I bought my machine secondhand that the tension and bobbin tension weren't right. This often caused me to be very frustrated not to mention making some messes on certain fabrics. I didn't say anything about this but Charlie found the tension issues and fixed them. Hurray!

Despite being very busy, during the pandemic, Charlie serviced my vintage machine quite quickly, and at a very reasonable cost. Both Charlie, and Terry his assistant are lovely people. I hope this store never closes!
