Beautiful historical venue with a lot of character! Patricia's cake creations provided the cake and sweet table for gorgeous wedding there. All of the staff were absolutely amazing and the lead coordinator who has been with the venue for 12 years was phenomenal! Would highly recommended

Berkeley Church is in amazing downtown venue for an intimate and romantic wedding. Its historical charm and stunning architectural features allows to create many beautiful photographs which are a mix of architecture, funky light, and different angles. I love the venue for its uniqueness.What’s important the staff at the Berkeley Church is welcoming and friendly and they always go above and beyond to make every wedding special.

We had our wedding here in July 2019. Rachel was totally incredible to work with. She was organized, efficient, quick to respond and super lovely overall. The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous, and didn't require much decor, but we went all out and it looked stunning. The food was amazing, everyone raved about it. They also let you bring in your own alcohol, which is a huge money saver. They are so flexible, and allowed us to bring in our own late night food items, decor items, dessert bar, and really anything else we wanted to personalize the event. Only downside was that we got a very hot, hot, hot day (45 degrees), and the venue's AC didn't cut it. We spent over $1000 on AC unit rentals as per the venue's (very good) advice, and still, it was HOT. But that's not their fault, it's an older venue, and they did everything they could by moving around fans, AC units, and serving ice-cold drinks. Overall a fabulous experience and I highly recommend.

This Venue is awesome, It has multiple level and it has Patio on side. Historic Church I believe and turn into Versatile venue. My 2nd time here, my 1st was an event for corporate film and my 2nd one it's a wedding. Food is good, service is good, lighting is good, the bar is nice and they have security too.

Best. Night. Ever. We just had our wedding at the Berkeley Church December 31, 2019 and it was beyond what we ever could have imagined. Derek was our contact and our day-of coordinator and was an absolute saint! He was so helpful through the whole process and was so knowledgable about the venue and weddings in general. He was a huge asset to our wedding and we leaned on him a great deal for advice and contacts, etc. The staff was also incredible. They did an amazing job and we had 190 guests with welcome cocktails, coat check, NYE bubbles passed and had our ceremony, cocktails and reception all at the venue. Also, we received many compliments from our guests that they loved the food! We certainly did at our tasting but it's so wonderful to hear it was also excellent for a big group. Huge bonus was we got to bring in our own alcohol and late night food. We thought the venue looked gorgeous and we loved the character from day one. The ceremony space in front of the stained glass is particularly magical!

We hosted our wedding at Berkeley Church this past October and cannot say enough positive things about the experience. From our first site visit to the wedding night, the venue was responsive, attentive, and thorough. We were matched with Allie as our wedding coordinator, and she is AMAZING. So kind, fun, answered quickly the million questions we sent, and made us feel like the venue was ours for the wedding. Totally open to all our ideas, we really felt complete freedom in designing the wedding. The food was amazing, the service and staff were on point, and it really is such a beautiful and unique place right in the heart of downtown Toronto to get married. We feel very lucky to have chosen Berkeley as it met our expectations. Only strange thing that happened was that our wedding cake disappeared by the time we went to pick it up the next day...but honestly, I hope whoever took it enjoyed it because it was delicious. Highly recommend Berkeley!

We came here for a wedding. it is a beautiful venue for many kinds of event. The ceremony was held on the upper floor. The lights came through the window behind the hosts helped made a scared ceremony.We had dinner and reception at the main floor and the basement. There are plenty of photo spots inside this church.The only problem here I had was about the parking. The street parking sign are not clear enough. There is a parking lot close to this place.

I came here for a techno event and it was excellent!! Security was nice but professional and doing their job. Staff was friendly. Sound was good tbh. More importantly there was a good crowd — not too rowdy and clearly there for the music. I think it was an ozmozis event.

We had our wedding here in early September and had a fantastic time! Lisa, our day of coordinator, insured the day went smoothly and executed every detail with ease. We could not have picked a better venue, and guests continue to rave about how unique it was. We hosted cocktail hour upstairs following the ceremony and would highly recommend this if given the option. The food was tasty, on time, and hot. Thank you to Lisa and all of the Berkeley staff for making our wedding day absolute perfection!
