Iona Island Causeway Sunset Viewpoint
Be prepared to walk and feel the natural elements of our river, sky and wind. Feeling a sense of achievement when you reach the end and the relief when you get back to your car.Parking is plenty, only bathroom at shore is clean when open. Can get crowded in the summer and would not recommend in winter.

Iona Island Causeway Sunset Viewpoint
Best spot to watch the sunset and catch a sight of airplanes about to land in YVR. The view is spectacular especially when the skies are painted with the rich shades of sunset. You can watch bird flocks flying around as well. Very relaxing sight.

I was going to rate it a 1 star because I don't want people to come to this spot. This is a beautiful place to go watch the sunset. Just please don't crank your stereo, it's is a quiet place place to relax at the end of the day.

Iona Island Causeway Sunset Viewpoint
We just park on the side of the road, or look for a spot on the beach, which is close and enjoy the sunset, the vast beauty, or if your lucky, catch a low flying hawk , coyote in the area. Beautiful spot to just be and replenish yourself with sun on your face, sand in your toes.Thank you Mother earth and the Ocean that replenishes our soul.
