Beautiful couples retreat. Gorgeous view, spa, pool, and dining. Large rooms and amenities. Only issue, are steps to pool spa area. If your handicap it's some effort. It's worth the view when up there

We enjoyed staying here more than our stay at the Fairmont Manoir Richelieu last year. The staff were friendly, the dining room was luxurious, the pool and hot tubs were perfect, the restaurant menus varied and the food delicious. Would highly recommend staying here.

Auberge Des Falaises
After our 7 day hike on La Traversée de Charlevoix, we made a last minute decision to stay in the area. As unannounced walk-ins, we could not have been more warmly welcomed by Simon at the front desk who set us up in a beautiful room with a spectacular view. He also arranged an excellent meal and gave us many great ideas on exploring the area. We will definitely be going back as our experience there was so lovely. Thanks again to Simon and the staff at Auberge Des Falaises!

Room was very small to point of being uncomfortable. Up 3 flights of stairs w luggage.Nice decor, great view of river. 4 hot tubs and heated pool. Up more stairs.Situated on steep hill. Not very walkable to get any where.Nice restaurant. Most staff bilingual.

The service is incredible. The personel has class, is polite and respectful. The food is so good I almost felt guilty it was included in our bundle. The room was awesome, spotless and the view was to die for. All in all a perfect day and night in an incredible place. We will probably go back there next year and maybe before that if possible.

What a pleasant surprise!The staff of the Auberge took necessary precautions to be safe with face masks for both staff & guests. Food was just amazing starting with great breakfasts - crepes Marlene were just divine with the delicious butter maple sauce! We came to celebrate a birthday and had a most amazing 5 course dinner with a French flair! Birthday cake was the most amazing strawberry custard I ever had! Our Room were tastefully decorated with a gorgeous view of the river. We enjoyed the pool area a the hot & cold spa area. It was a wonderful experience and great escape. Merci!

BEWARE DO NOT GO THERE AT ALL COSTwe stayed there for 2 nights and the first night was 195 and we put our credit card in and our pin. at that point we thought we paid , then we asked for a second night and they said the price would be 245 we said ok so when it was time to go check out they gave us an undocumented bill that stated we owed 521$ I was disputing the charges with a very roude and unpleasant desk clerk at the front desk and he took a while to explain to me the way I was being charged and what all my charges were about.we paid and left. we are form montreal a 5 hr drive away from the hotel . 3 hrs after we left we get a phoencall saying that he has pictures of wine all over our room , the floor the wall the bathroom everywhere and that he took pictures and that he will be taking 250$ more off our credit card. we did leave half a bottle of wine in the room but did not leave wine spilled all over. It could have been the cleaning lady first of all because we did not leave her a tip as we did not have cash because of the virus. Or it could have been the Roude desk clerk trying to get a revenge on us as he was so angry to the point of shaking while speaking with me at the front desk.When he called me he sais that I better not leave any bad comment on the internet or he will call the police. He is a very sick individual and should be fired if they want to keep that buisness up because I did read somewhere in the reviews that this place has troubles with charges in the past and I bet it was with this unpleasant fool .(I only read about those reviews after we stayed there )If you really need a place to stay in Malbaie and there is no where else , if you do stay there make sure you pay in full b4 hand and take pictures of youre room and when you go to check out make sure someone comes to checkthe room with you and sign a paper saying that the room is in good condition .Right now I am on my way to work and on my day off I will contact my local police, lawyer etc even if I am 5 hrs away from Malbaie I enjoy driving and I want my 300$ falsley stolen from my credit card along with intrest for ruining my trip.I have to edit my post . Thank you for you're reply , just shows you were trying to get a revenge , you are a sick individual and I worked at a hotel b4 and it's ok for you to spill the wine all over the room yourself as you have wine stain remover . You are a liar and we will ne needing youre front desk videotape .. I was not as angry as you are saying and good for you if you have people that will lie and cover up for you . Maybe if the first girl I was talking to could do her job properly and explain properly what the charges were about then you wouldn't have had to intervene in the situation .You did explain well and did a good job at that , to bad you had to show the ugly side and cause problems and stress for people that went on a trip and really enjoyed ourselves and took that away from us . Just shows you are sick and full of drama and you should not be working in customer service at all .

This place is elegant and friendly. The staff smiles sincerely and are efficient. I would go back any time to enjoy the views, the great food, the pool and spa.

We booked a deluxe room that included 5-course meal (forfait bon appétit). We ate at the restaurant and the food and service was excellent. However, the next day when we checked out, the receptionist (who has been nothing but rude since our arrival) billed us an extra $140 for our food bill, even though our receipt showed otherwise. Her only explanation was that because we booked the room through booking.com only the room was included in the package, and not the course meal. As such we ended up paying the for a night + meal package but only got the night. We had to pay an extra for the meal which was charged on our back. In the end, it could have been a very enjoyable stay but was ruined by one employee

Excellent room, excellent dinner and breakfast, excellent view, but there is no high speed Internet, contrary to what is advertised. There is only a very slow, open (therefore unsafe) wi-fi connection with bad reception. Had to use my phone to watch videos.
