A great place to keep warm. Take a warm shower, do your laundry have a warm meal and coffee (depending on Covid rules) and the staff are welcoming warm nice ppl.

This deserves the 5 stars I give it. This organization has proven to me that their is the ability to comfort, accommodate, help, support, care and love all its community members.This center opens at 8 a.m and operates till 4 PM 7 days a week. Among the life giving services you find here, the staff and volunteers that over see them are amazing.The 454 center is really a show of what all churches can do, what they are not doing and it is a shame frankly because if more buildings such as these churches used the concept this center has acrros our country, we just may reach Trudeau's No homeless in Canada by 2030" agenda. The 50 billion dollars the feds promised for services to end homelessness altogether

It's the best place to go if you need a quick meal and a place to get out of the cold and I'd you want to take a nap they have Coxs so you can rest

this place is nice inside. but I find they favour the men. and it's like pulling teeth to get laundry done some staff are rude and standoffish when they know u need help I really thought Ottawa was different men was I wrong

Very good staffing services as I went to get help filling out forms for my pension and was helped out very pleasantly and respectfully by the young lady

This place was amazing for my mom when she didn’t have a working washing machine. They welcomed her, taught her card games even with her language barrier. Such sweet and caring people.

Whether or not you have steady income, a place to live with friends and family, these people will welcome you. Always something to drink and usually plenty of snacks available free of charge. Focused primarily on offering social service to the less fortunate, 454 will bridge the gap between individuals, couples, families and services they require. On site ODSP staff, CMHA and housing support, also offering SITE services and sexual health information with products. If need be, there are showers and free laundry services (call ahead or book in person 1 [one] day in advance for laundry). Very helpful. Additionally there are always group games, art and music sessions, group outings once a month and a nice garden/greenspace.

Social services like this are integral to our society, and it is incredible the hard work they do every day working with such a vulnerable population.

Staff helpful.You can take a shower, well not with a friend but at least get cleaned.
