Ramada by Wyndham Red Deer Hotel & Suites

Check in was fast and the man at the desk was very pleasant. Room was very dingy. We had to go to the front desk and get new sheets as ours were stained. The room is in dire need of repainting and the carpets are heavily stained. The grout around the toilet needs cleaning and the sink vent has some sort of mold or grime growing. I spoke with others in our group and their rooms sounded about the same condition as ours. This hotel needs a serious deep cleaning!

My stay at this hotel was amazing. With the help of the front desk lady I treated myself to a Jacuzzi suite.(she was so kind) thankyou. The room was clean, comfortable and very quiet. The bed was very comfortable. There is very good selection of restaurants within walking distance. This will be my go to hotel in Red Deer.

Hotel room was decent, beds were mediocre. Hot tub not working. My husband, daughter and I were staying with no event and they put all the “dance” patrons on the second floor while we were put on the first floor. Let’s just say they definitely know how to dance. Woke us up every morning at 5:30am with stomping, banging etc. Walls are paper thin so you can even hear your neighbours alarm clocks. Spoke to the front staff upon check out and was told that people who have longer stays get priority and they were hoping that the dance competition people would be quiet. Breakfast was scrambled eggs, partially cooked bacon and sausage - good thing there’s a Tim’s in the same parking lot. For the price point, we will opt to stay at the Hampton’s by the Hilton next time.

This hotel was absolutely disgusting. Stained mattress covers in every room and it's so run down it should be closed. These were beds in the same room. Everything is so outdated it should be a 2 or 3 star max. Also had an awful security guard working who was not friendly at all and still let unsafe random people into the hotel (so much for security?). There are many other and better hotels in the area. The only redeeming quality was the great front desk service. Do yourself a favor and run!

Great hotel, I stayed here for business for a week. Location was perfect, across the street from the office I was visiting, very easy to find and get to but still felt tucked away from the busier roads. Every staff member I met was friendly, courteous, and professional. The room was clean and tidy, suited my needs. Bed and pillows were comfy; I could adjust the room temperature to my liking. Had a nice keurig coffee station and they still have individual toiletries (thank goodness! I don’t like the communal shampoo/conditioner that some hotels have now). Overall, great value for the price and very pleasant stay!

The front desk staff were very friendly, welcoming and accommodating as best they could. My 1 star review comes down to the rooms. We went through 3 rooms. The first 2 smelt HEAVILY of cigarette smoke. To the point of being hit with a wall of it as soon as opening the door. Then the 3rd room we went into, had 2 big dead black bugs in the bed!!!! I was so grossed out. We were in the hotel for 15 minutes and still charged a full night because we disrupted" the bedding. The first thing I always do is pull the bedding back to look for stains

I came here for a family day trip with my mom and son. The rooms are a little outdated and one of the beds was very squishy on one side. The housekeeping staff kept it fairly clean, but you need to try not to look behind too many things.The pool was in great condition, but unfortunately, the hot tub was not in service during our stay.The staff were amazing, very friendly, and always quick to help us. The ladies making breakfast were also super sweet as two out of three of us have allergies. The location is pretty good, just next to a busy road which can’t be helped.

This was a big disappointment. The first thing that hit our nostrils was the really bad smell of the carpet in the entire hallway leading to our room. The room itself was dingy, stains on the carpets and towels. Some of the towels were very old, yellowed and thin, with the texture of sandpaper. The blackout curtains are only wide enough to close half the window, so if you're there in the summer, you will not have a dark room. The pool is absolutely disgusting. It was the reason we stayed there, and once we entered the pool, which is only waist deep for an adult, WE COULD NOT EVEN SEE OUR FEET - that's how murky the water was. Our child developed hand foot mouth disease a couple of days after our return (our child does not go to daycare, so couldn't have gotten it elsewhere). The breakfast is a joke - you have to order waffles in advance, and wait in line for a long time before they even take your order. If you don't put the Do not disturb" sign on your door the night before

The room was clean and nice but smelled a little like cigarette smoke. The bathroom door sticks, and the carpet should be torn out or replaced. Staff was very nice, especially patient with our tired, slow thought process. There's a major highway close by, making it easy to come and go, restaurants nearby but watch your little one's near the road.
