Nido de Montessori

Great place! Awesome staffs and amazing environment. My children addict to go to school to do their “work” everyday.The teachers are professionally trained and they know what they are doing. Not just like a ordinary school to have some “nannys” to watch after for your kids, Nido makes tailored education plan for each individual in REAL Montessori approach. During last 8 months, my son improved a lot in his math, phonic, drawing, and social behavior.Best in town!

Our two year old daughter has been going to Nido for a few months now and she loves it! The teachers are absolutely amazing and the wide variety of actives are great for her development. I love how they send photos of kids doing activities throughout the day. It's amazing to get little insights into what they are doing while I'm working away.

The teachers, the atmosphere, and the loves your child will get from Nido is unparalleled!! My son loves all the teachers he have been with, particular Ms. Connie, Ms. Rika and Ms. Erica! They will spend time at your pick up times to share all the daily highlights in details, anything we should watch out for, and all the parenting tips! They taught my son to be a happy, polite and caring little gent! It is 5 Stars for sure, no doubt!! The only thing that needs to take note is the lunch option, where we opted out, but Nido is very accommodating that we could use our own vendor even pandemic. That level of understanding is what a true ECE institution should have!

My daughter has been attending Nido since 2019. She would often come home with a big smile and share what fun activities she has done throughout her day. The teachers are amazing, patient, supportive, and responsible. My daughter would tell me that the teachers love her one million ( biggest number she knows!). The facility is always clean and classrooms are organized, I feel very safe sending my daughter to Nido since she was 18mo (She is now 4). The only downside about Nido is their hours. Pick-up time is too early for parents who work full time, and there are a lot of day-offs (ProD, 2w Springbreak, 2.5w winter break, etc.) but that is the same with almost all Montessori daycares i guess? Overall, My daughter has enjoyed Nido and I have recommended Nido to almost all my friends!

Nido is a prestigious daycare centre. The current and past educators, the clean environment, the COVID safety protocols, and the list goes on are unbeatable. It is not for everyone though, Nido does follow the public school schedule and pick up is between 3:00-3:30pm. However, that being said, the trade off is worth considering. Our child has always looked forward in going to Nido and its all because the Nido Team goes above and beyond. A big shout out to the members of Team Nido in creating the reputable community we have today.

Children are our greatest gift and treasure and so it is with full confidence that we entrusted our son to the team at Nido. There are many childcare options to choose from but Nido made the choice easy and our son has grown up from their Toddler class (less than 3 years old) through their Primary class (up to 5+ years old). Yes, the facilities are clean, bright, modern and open, both inside and out. Indeed, the food options (snack and lunch) are healthy and varied.But most importantly, the staff make the difference:- Multicultural staff with varied backgrounds being varied perspectives to the teaching and children.- The staff are native English speakers, which help when teaching language skills.- Continuous learning and professional development provide enhanced activities and education of the children.- The staff are keen, attentive, and patient with both parents and staff providing updates, stories of what’s happened throughout each day, education on how to handle situations with children - all done in-person during drop-off and pick-up (or any time requested), and on an app called Seesaw.Their progressive approach to the staff and children’s education, coupled with a low number of students per staff member make Nido easy to recommend for anyone looking for a partner in their young child’s education!

We are very please to have enrolled our daughter at Nido de Montessori. The facility is clean and welcoming. Teachers are very patient and approachable. I really appreciate the care and attention they have provided to our daughter. Frequently we are given advices and updates regarding our daughter’s progress. I also like their well balanced curriculum where students are encouraged to discover their interests and talents via participation in various individual and group activities. There is a noticeable advancement in my daughter’s personal skills, discipline, and social engagement after she attended Nido de Montessori. Thank you Team Nido!

Richmond has a lot of childcare centres, but from our experience (from attending and visiting a few other ones), Nido is an amazing ECE centre and a cut above other ones. Our daughter has attended Nido since 2020, and she loves this place and her teachers. We are impressed by the quality of teaching and caring for the children. We appreciate the individualized care and attention they provide to the children - we can say with full confidence that they know each and every single one of the students there really well. The teachers always go above and beyond with everything they do for the children!Finally, the environment is just so lovely - it is homey, cozy, with lots of bright light. They use an app called Seesaw, and we receive lots of photos and daily updates of what the children do. As parents, we really appreciate the effort they make in this communication.

It can be difficult to find a good daycare, but Nido has been an amazing experience. From our initial meeting all the way through enrollment they demonstrated a level of care and respect for children that made me feel confident my daughter would be in good hands.The staff and teachers are always willing to discuss any issues that come up either with the program or with behavior, and I feel heard whenever I have concerns. The teachers share fun moments from their day with us and all the other parents, and are diligent about creating learning opportunities that align with student interests. The lunch program is also very nutritious and diverse, my daughter has developed more comfort with different foods and textures.Thank you Nido for providing a safe, caring and educational environment for the children!
