Confederation Trailside Tourist Grounds

This place is wonderful. The owners are super friendly and the place is beautiful! There is everything you might need! Washers and dryers, HUGE showers and toilets.I highly recommend this place if you want to discover the island a little. Since the confederation trail is passing across the camping, there is access to a lot of wonderful views easily!I am definitely going back

My wife and I spent two nights here at the end of June. Very pretty spot with the Confederation Trail running right through the campground. Great facilities. The rec hall has clean bathrooms, a fully equipped, communal kitchen area, pool table, darts, television, music, etc. One evening several campers were enjoying karaoke and were more than happy to have us join in. Very relaxed atmosphere. Jack was a wonderful host. Very friendly. Would highly recommend camping at Confederation Trailside.

Stopped in unannounced in early June before much was happening in PEI. Jack was surprised to see people on the trail so early but welcomed us immediately, we asked for a camp site and he replied that it was suppose to rain and we should sleep in the rec building where we could shower, have complete use of a stocked kitchen, have a fire, and play pool! He even came over and made a fire for us. In the morning when we left he gave us his card and said if we ran into any issues to call and he would come get us, not sure what more you could ask for. Great campground, location is literally on the trail, and a great host, thanks Jack.

Excellent location if you are biking the Confederation Trail. It is a $15 / person campground, so it would be an excellent option if you travel alone, not so much if you travel as a family. Not kids friendly, but the owner is a great fellow.

A very nice place to start your bike ride on the trail. The view is majestic.

A very quaint and peaceful campground. The facilities feel very home-like. Jack, the owner, is a very kind and hospitable person - he gave me a free crate of firewood. Don't forget the bug spray!

If you're looking for a very laid back campground where you're sure to make some friends, this is it. The facilities we're located in a communal cottage/club house type building with a pool table and a small bar. Gay friendly, a bit of an older crowd but young at heart.

Loved this cozy campground and like most have mentioned Jack is an Awesome host. I pulled in late afternoon after a long 80km bicycle ride and my 3rd day touring PEI on bicycle. I called Jack to make a reservation and said for me to pick any spot I wanted and see me later as he was in Town....he asked if I needed any food...i told him no that I had few dinner rolls and peanut butter left over...he laughed....pulled to my site a bit later and announced he had prepared me a Roast supper and it was in the Rec hall Fridge....OMG I couldn't believe it....it was AWESOME.I offered to pay but he would have none of that non sense...lolSo a great campground with a Great Host so please support next time you're in that area. And Jack thanks again buddy.
