Eyes On Bedford

Optometrist was fine but very high turnover of staff in the store and they are all very inexperienced with extremely limited knowledge of the fit, frames & lenses that the store sells. Quality of the lenses wasn’t great and have not lasted well long despite that I paid extra for the various coatings etc. axed on the experience I had, the store seems to be all about the volume of sales not the quality of customer service or quality of lenses and frames. It seems to be fairly low budget though so I guess you get what you pay for. If you are not overly concerned about good quality or fit, this shop will suit your needs.

Have been waiting over a month for my glasses.I'm giving an update , I finally received my glasses and the wrong prescription was put in them. I brought them back and It has now been a total of 7 months since I ordered my glasses. And I still don't have them. I paid $800+ and I'm wearing dollar store glasses. I strongly recommend going else where.

Optometrist is fine but I would not order frames and lenses unless you feel like paying top dollar and waiting months for your glasses.

I had an appointment on Friday afternoon for testing and glasses and was pleasantly surprised. I met Jay who made me feel comfortable asking questions, looking at glasses and explaining tests. He is an asset to your business with his patience and friendly manner.

I went on a Saturday morning and my experience was very good. The doctor answers all my questions, the exam was very complete and they actually have good prices on glasses (plus discounts from my insurance for 1 par only).

Payton was so kind and helpful when I asked for help finding frames that worked for me and my face :) She is absolutely lovely, kind and a pleasure to talk to

I would recommend getting your eye tested here, if you dont mind the hour plus wait time to get into your appointment. There was no other customers waiting so unsure of the delay, maybe it was break time as my appointment was at 4.I do not reccomend getting your eyewear here unless you like to wait 5 1/2 weeks or more like Idid. I was given multiple excuses on the delay from the dipper machine being broken, the doctor needing to pick up the glasses downtown and checking the prescription. I had an appointment to be fitted for contacts. That appointment also ran late, I was there waiting and they took other customers ahead of me..must have realized they forgot to give me the trial contacts to put in after taking the other customers, when I brought it to their attention, I have been waiting for an hour and told I was next.Then there was suppose to be a deal with buying contacts, and after weeks of trying to get my offer, they told me the deal was no longer available by the manufacturing as it ended, this was weeks after I already paid.Staff should know this before offering customers the promotion. This would have changed my mind before purchasing at the time of my $800+ payment. Costco would have been cheaper.Staff are friendly and helpful as best they can be with their knowledge provided, however, very unorganized business. Save yourself some time and frustration, get your prescription eyewear elsewhere.
