Really nice grocery store; fresh vegetables and fruits and lots of international items available. This store is cleaned and well maintained. 10%of the time they are out of the stock. This store is just 5 min from my house so I usually buy my groceries from hereHowever I recommend to use Self checkout because all the cashiers are really rude and bad customer service.

Floors are dirty, People don’t want to buy food in a store with filthy floors! Indicative of cleaning practises and health considerations! One of the staff monitoring self check out is rudeRarely more than one cashier openPrices are better than some grocery stores but not an appealing store to shop in.

Store nice and clean. However last month had attended to buy some meat that was advertised on sale in the flyer, 2 per house. At the cooler was a hand written sign stating 1 per house. We picked 2 pieces and went to the self check outs as this was all we went to buy. A older, female employee accosted us demanding to know why we had 2. 1 piece was actually for another family member who has mobility issues, after that she scurried away. A email was sent to store managers to discuss the matter using the customer support page. Never heard back from them in well over a month. This is ironic because they may not hear back from me at the store again. Anyway, be aware of flyer vs hand written notes at this store.2023 06 20Store never acknowledged emails for phone calls sent to them. Now changed to 1 star for lack of care given.

Food Basics, like it's namesake, is a DISCOUNT grocery store. I have read many complaints here; many are overlooking this fact. If you want super-high quality, go to Loblaws or Farm Boy...and pay double or more.I have been to 6-odd FB stores in Ontario. I would say that, in terms of quality, selection and especially price, this location is exceptionally good. Only one minor dislike: FB's beef (ground, steaks, roasts) is very so-so. But chicken and pork are just fine. I am a steady customer and greatly appreciate the excellent value from this store. Please keep up the good work guys. Thank you.

Been my go-to grocery store for over 4 years. While not the best selection, the prices are great and there are always deals on the things I enjoy.

The reusable bags that are for sale here are small. Why charge money for inadequate shopping tools. Some, wait No, MANY people have to walk and bigger reliable bags would be awesome.

This store has just had a major reno done to it; inside and out! It looks great! They've added more fridges and rearranged the entire store to make more sense with much better flow. Also added self checkout area, got rid of dead space, and added these electric price tags. The staff is always friendly and the prices and sales are awesome! Love having this store close to me!

Grocery prices are going up like crazy at this location. Not even worth going you're far better off visiting Walmart down the road. Frustrating as a student expecting value and decent prices showing up and feel like I'm being scammed

Customer service is worst in London. I found that a milk carton was too bloated in my cart when I was checking out at self-checkout area. To avoid risk of bed milk, I asked one assistant to remove the item from my check list and how the milk would be put. The assistant(a older woman with short blond hair) impatiently said “put where you find”. She didn’t follow the rules of the store and didn’t ask any employee to rearrange the product! Instead, she requested the customer me to put item back although I was on checkout station. After I scanned all items and planned to go, I told the woman that I carried many stuffs and was unable to put the milk back. Then I put the milk on the customer service counter. At that moment, another employee women(skinny with long blond hair) in customer service counter forced me to leave with reproach tone and saying” go now”. She even did not know what happened. I believe these two employees are racists and unqualified to do customer service jobs because they didn’t treat the white without manner. They were too rude and unprofessional. I never thought I would have this terrible experience in Food Basics. Food Basics has good deals in product but they don’t hire virtuous employees and train them properly. If you are also the one caring about shopping experience, DO NOT go to the grocery store.

A pathetic place to be called a grocery store. Asked an employee if there is someone who could help in the diary section. The response is there is no one in that section at this time and it was around 7:30 pm. Wanted some advertised item that were not there as the boxes were empty. So inquired if not in shelf or in designated area , does that mean no one can help to check. The response was pretty much yes we can’t help you.
