I am absolutely thrilled with the tutoring my son received from MyGradeBooster! Our focus has been on improving study habits and incorporating learning strategies for a neurodivergent learner. My son’s tutor Annika, has been exceptional from day one. She has had a huge impact, teaching him the tools and strategies to improve his word problem comprehension and study habits. What a confidence boost this has been for my son, who has made significant progress in his Physics course. Annika also follows up with clear and effective progress feedback, going beyond expectations!

Worked with MGB for around 4-6 months, had tutors for science, french and english.Tutors were:Understanding, knowledgeable, caring, easy to talk to, quick to respond to emails, willing to change their way of teaching to match the strengths of the person and open to answer anything I had questions about (their experiences in university, high school, what classes I should take if I wanted to go down a certain path, any tips for studying and etc)Mehrnez was a great help, she was willing to answer any questions I had about my education. She took time out of her day to have a meeting with me to discuss what I wanted to do about my learning early on, guiding me through what would be the best solution would be.It has been a wonderful experience with MyGradeBooster and I soon hope for another year with them. My family and I would completely recommend their service.

I am a tutor at MyGradeBooster and my experience has been great. Even though I study full time, I am able to balance my personal studies with the tutoring sessions and I have never been overwhelmed with work. It is also great working with the students and actually noticing the improvements. Besides, the support I receive at MyGradeBooster helps me improve my tutoring skills so that I can do better every time.

Hailey has done an incredible job with my son in helping him adjust to middle school. Through his sessions with her, he has grown in his confidence with tackling his schoolwork, has learned strategies that have helped boost his reading, writing, and mathematical skills, has learned how to better organize his thoughts and digest the information given to him, and has developed a strong foundation for effective learning. We are so grateful that we have her as a support system for our son during this crucial transition year.

My daughter has been working on science 9 and the successes have been numerous. Her ability to feel confident and ask questions has been a huge barrier to learning and she is now able to do that with her tutor. There was also a lot of procrastination and avoiding of difficult work but not so much anymore. Having a trusting relationship with your teacher/tutor is key with motivation. She' been non-judgmental, encouraging and supportive. Been a wonderful experience.

Alandra has been an amazingly supportive tutor for my kiddo with Math! She is patient yet thorough while moving through the content that needs to be learned. She picks up on areas my child might be struggling with and arranges the lessons around areas that need more strengthening. Her notes to us after are incredibly thorough, and sharing these with the teacher has also been such an asset. Her communication skills are clear and concise. I would highly recommend her as a tutor!

My daughter has been using tutoring services for her grade 12 year and it’s really helped her boost her confidence in mastering the material. Her tutor Julian L really found creative ways to explain things a different way than the teacher did so she could understand. Booking and being flexible with times and days of the week was a big plus since she also swims competitively and has a busy schedule. It was nice to get a summary after each session and to know what they worked on and to understand what she needed to work on. I would definitely recommend my grade booster and I’m sure we’ll be using them for a few more subjects next term and for our son.

Simran has been exceptional to work with. My daughter looks forward to her weekly sessions, and as a parent I appreciate the weekly feedback on her progress. We are just finishing our second year with her and hope she is able to continue to tutor our daughter next year. Simran’s help with Pre-Calc has grown our daughter confidence exponentially! My daughter (Grade 8) found that it was a bit jump from Grade 7 to Grade 8 math and she was struggling to learn some of the new concepts. Nimmy has been such a great help to her this term, explaining the concepts well and giving my daughter practice questions to work through both in class and for homework when she asked for them. Her confidence in math is improving and we are looking forward to continuing with Nimmy after the summer.
