Amsterdam Inn & Suites

People at the front counter were nice and went outta their own way to get stuff for my friend with a baby and polite which was nice Cause she is going through a bit of a rough patch so it was a good spot to come and they definitely was a nice stay for 5 days

Somebody's leftover garlic fingers still in the fridge and a wet towel hanging on the back of the bathroom door on arrival. TV didn't work. Went with our hockey team. Mini sticks were prohibited. Cancellation policy changes for hockey teams so had to pay for two nights, stayed one, despite being told by the clerk that we could check out early without penalty. A lot of miscommunication. Overall, a disappointing, expensive stay.

Loved visiting my home town ❤️ the Amsterdam Inn is in a central location. Walking distance to several restaurants and stores. Just off the highway so convenient for tourists and locals as well. Nice breakfast and great service. Thanks for the great stay.

The good : Location is good, nice rooms and hotel, good staff, great breakfast and coffee. The bad :It is LOUD LOUD LOUD here. There is no insulation between walls or floors. For example, you can hear someone sneeze in the next room and hear all noise and traffic, snow plows etc etc outside in the parking lot, no was one actually partying or being excessive, just people being regular guests talking, walking etc and you WILL hear all of it. Unfortunately just a very very poor building design. Too bad, as I said, the actual hotel is decent.

It was one of the most amazing stays I have ever experienced at any accommodation in years. The front desk assistant made check-in a breeze. The room was extremely comfortable and well appointed, including the superb bed and bedding. It was very clean and quiet. Also, the breakfast the following morning was tasty and fresh.I was so impressed at the care and effort put forth by Amsterdam Inn and can confidentially say that I will be staying again at your wonderful establishment.

Great staff, hot breakfast included starting at 6am, dog-friendly, very close to highway. Large lawn/small field at site. Sobeys nearby for self-serve eats. Town of Sussex is small and closes at 5pm. Nothing happening when we were there. Very little from a tourism perspective(as of 2022). This Inn is clean and tidy. It's a good business/travel stop-over spot

I have never seen an impolite staff in the service industry. Hotel is nice and clean! Great location! Good breakfast! BUT I don’t have a good first impression when i walk into there. No greeting, no smile. I didn’t care but second day morning , I was wondering ask her about check out time because turn to summer time, I hope we can check out at 12pm. she rejected said need to clean up the room. Seriously? 11am in sharp need to clean our room? You have a lots of room are empty! And she was busy on the 1 minute conversation with me, I had to talk with her and follow with her to everywhere. She never stopped and face to me to talk. When we checked out at 11am, my parents were sitting down in the lobby. She sweepped floor and let my parents up up up their legs!!! What’s wrong!!! Can you sweep other place first? Can you respect your customers? !!! Worst experience!!!
