Both guards are really nice and very helpful.5 ⭐️Truck entrance off of hwy61 turn towards Broadway ave, you’ll see the sign for resolute go straight at first guard shack stop, they’ll check if you have all the PPE . After that, go straight you’ll see entrance to your right and 2nd guard shack, turn right park your truck on the left and walk to guard shack they’ll check your trailer ( needs to be clean and not damaged from inside) then if you’re switching then drop and hook the loaded trailer wherever they tell you from. Go to scale after hooking your trailer see if weight is good, go to shack again park and walk there get paperwork and you’re good to go. Make sure you have all the PPE i.e safety glasses, hard hat, vest, gloves and safety shoes also full pants no shorts otherwise you’ll be turned back.

Security not good there, Asking driver to have All the safety equipment that a worker need to work there, Vest and shoes is OK for drivers because we keep that in trucks, but safety Glasses and Hard Safety hat.(Which is most provide by the facility, to not give hard hat to drivers, they are saying no driver return there hats. How could you accuse anyone like that, you tell as you don’t have money to buy extra hats for visiter)

Always treated well...follow company rules and guidelines....( common sense) and there doesn't seem to be a problem.

Very Bad Management they do not care about driver. They make you wait couple hours for no reason or maybe send you back for no reason. Security need to respect drivers. Hope they understand and not waste driver’s time.

There really needs to be more done for Yard management during the winter, way too much ice and snowbuildup under trailers, and this is Thunder Bay so ya think it would be expected and dealt with. I've gotten stuck here twice... sorry some of us drive company vehicles that don't have the same specs as those Cando Peterbilts and we get stuck under sheer ice and built up snow.

Easy in and out. Guards are super nice. Bring hard hat and safety glasses. Location have Weight scale. Hook your trailer , weight it and then u will get the paper work from guard.

Security guard is very strict to check trailer .make sure you have clean trailer from inside ,should not have any leakage or dirty from inside. Normally I do switch here with loaded trailer. Another thing you must have full pant ,safety shoes,glasses and helmet with safety west. They will not give you load if you don’t have any from these.
