My fiance and I had been driving from Ontario back home to Nova Scotia and it was getting late so we decided to pull off and find a room for the night. Owner was friendly and we got a room really quick.Room was clean and the bathroom looked brand new and I wasn't expecting it to look that nice for the price. There were little shampoos too which I was also surprised at.A lot of these reviews are ignorant to the hard work it takes to keep a small motel running. The AC was fantastic and the bed was comfy. We appreciated the stay after a long drive. We will definitely stay again if driving back to Ontario.

Very clean , the room is comfy , has all necessary . I made reservation of 2 queen rooms for 2 adults and 2 teens , but owner proposed me to take only one of them because every of 2 had also sofa-bed for 2 persons. It was nice surprise , we paid finally for 1 room instead of 2. Bravo for your honesty !

The complimentary breakfast was delishious and plentiful, they had an array of food as well as a fresh quart of milk, very pleasant staff and understanding of our lack of French. Good experience over all we would definitely return due to the rates being so reasonable

Clean, but extremely outdated, and a very uncomfortable bed. The room was non-smoking but smelled of smoke and there was an old ashtray in the corner. The breakfast in your room is a nice touch.

The Auberge St-Alexandre was an oasis is the storm! The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and each of the staff members were friendly. It's great because it is right of the highway so navigating a city or town isn't required. The rate was phenomenal. I would highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a quaint room. I'm committing the Auberge St-Alexandre to memory for future trips through the Eastern provinces.

It was a comfortable stay. Better for when you just need somewhere to crash. The staff were very friendly and spoke good English. If the air conditioner had worked I would've reviewed higher.

Room was nothing elaborate but extremely clean. Had everything we needed. Fridge, TV, small kitchen table two chairs, coffee pot and a very comfortable bed. After driving 10 hours. All was very much appreciated.

Its was cute ..clean ...and comfy ..breakfast was good ..u choose your own n bring it to your room for morning..staff was friendly ..i recommend the rooms across the street they come with kitchenette..has dishes pots pans cutlery...id stay again when traveling back this way...from Toronto. Ont

Guy made my experience great! My jeep broke down on the highway and he went out of his way to set up a tow truck and mechanic in the area! There was everything you would need in the room!
