Kenmar Basement Systems

Ken and his team were able to fix the water problems in our basement! They installed a new sump pump, sump pit and the WaterGuard system which did the trick. Before the installation, we would have water seep into the basement from a number of locations due to our old clay weeping tiles no longer functioning properly. Since the installation, we've had no water in the basement. The installation was pricy, but it was cheaper than what was quoted to waterproof our foundation from the outside. We now feel comfortable with finishing the basement!Thanks Ken & team for the great service & functional product.

Ken gave me good advice on how to deal with some concerning issues in my crawlspace, so I hired him to replace my sump pump. The installers were polite and professional, did the job well, and answered my questions about the product. They cleaned up after themselves. Very pleased overall.

Amazing job. Amazing system. Highly recommend. I don't know why anyone would not look into this if they are having any water problems in basement at all!! Friends of mine have had it done and so have my parents. They have not had any problems since. We had inches of water in our basement this spring and we just had system installed. Fully confident we will have no more problems. The crew was excellent, did excellent job. Very efficient and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!!!!!!!

We love our new CleanSpace Installation. We now have a nice clean smelling crawlspace andit is great for storage too. Ken, Marina and the crew were very professional, friendly andcourteous from start to finish.We would highly recommend KenMar Basement Systems.

Faced medical discrimination during the interview process, it's truely saddening the direction this country has headed but not surprising with people so willing to trample over our Charter of Rights and Freedoms

Kenmar Basement Systems made a mistake while doing maintenance on our sump pumps and refused to take responsability or repair the issue CAUSED by them. Everything was working as it should until they arrived!! Ken was very unprofessional! I will NEVER be using this company again.

Becareful with this company , he talked from 3 sides of his mouth even contradicting his own company , made things even way more complicated , bad mouthed a local other company saying he cant do it i cant do it the wheeping tile i only had one inch of cement , saying so therefore you need the dry track,then once i signed the contract ,he said id like to come back i think we can put the wheeling tile in. I had another company xome and probe i had well over 3 inches of cemment cancelled my contract with them very glad i did . Please be warned . Lots of shady stuff here and way way over priced .oh and tou have to do all the prep work for them lmao

Deal with this company if you want to be swindled. Purchased original Supersump system more than fifteen years prior to Kenmar taking over local Basement Systems distributorship and was happy with performance, but system required replacement, so arranged meeting with owner of Kenmar Basement Systems after meeting him at a trade show. Owner tried to upsell (@$1,500 more) on a triple sump system which was beyond what was required. Replaced with the same system that had served well for many years, at what I felt was a high price ($1,900) but rationalized it must be going rate and Kenmar is only distributor in Sudbury and surrounding area.There is no way to reach this company for after hours service and they recommend an annual service call costing $206.79 to clean pump with a wire brush, replace 9 v battery and replace check valve (30-minutes). When I placed a service call two weeks after maintenance visit, (switch/float issue causing intermittent pumping), was told by owner's wife, she'd get back to me in a couple of days. Over a month later, after no call, sump stuck in pump mode. Placed second request for service call and relied on battery back-up until repaired. When technician opened system, original float switch wire attached to pump was found to be taped."Questioned owner's wife who indicated they did not sell re-furbished pumps and had no idea why wire would be taped. Technician recommended taking the small metal end off wire of a new pump in his van and placing onto mine to make it operable

I consider myself lucky that I saw a Kenmar van on a drive home from work; my parents had been struggling with foundational problems and moisture issues in their basement. We were strapped at who to call and ask, so when Kenmar checked out the site and figured out how to fix the problems we were ready to start work. Throughout the job they've been professional, considerate, and kind. Truly above and beyond. Even if it was an expensive job due to what needed work, we got value in the peace of mind that this problem would be taken care of and that we can trust the contractors in our family home.Thank you so much Kenmar!

Hiring Kenmar to install interior weeping tile and carbon armor was an excellent experience from start to finish. Ken is extremely knowledgeable about the products and other tips and tricks. Pat and Miguel were professional, hard working, and respectful. This is an all round excellent company to work with. I highly recommend them!
